Who would have thought that Canada was having a problem with illegal immigrants? Canada was supposed to be intrinsically immune to this problem by reason of only sharing a land border with America.

But the world has changed and Canada is now facing a problem similar in form, if not in the nature of the posed threat, to that which America has faced for many long years.

It seems that, in the wake of the 2010 Elections and the shift of America back to its core values and cultural mores, Liberals and Progressives are “wetbacking” across the border into Canada seeking the Statist, Neo-Socialist utopia that has been denied them by the patriots in the Unites States.

Canadians: “Build a Damn Fence!”

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The recent actions of the Tea Party are prompting an exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, and to agree with Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.

Canadian border farmers say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night. “I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield , whose acreage borders North Dakota . The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?”

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields. “Not real effective,” he said. “The liberals still got through and Rush annoyed the cows so much that they wouldn’t give any milk.”

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves.” A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions,” an Ontario border patrolman said. “I found one carload without a single bottle of imported drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley Cabernet, though.”

When liberals are caught, they’re sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans in powdered wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the ’50s. “If they can’t identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age.” an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and are renting all the Michael Moore movies “I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can’t support them.” an Ottawa resident said. “How many art-history majors does one country need?”

Certainly Canada’s border woes aren’t as immediately threatening as what America faces, but it’s still a problem. The increased crowds and lines at Tim Hortons – or worse, Starbucks using these illegal Liberal immigrants as a beach head – alone is a problem that few Canadians are ready to face with equanimity. 😉

On the bright side, these are Leftists, various Liberals and Progressives, which are fleeing America. That can only be a good thing for the American people. On the other hand though, Canada is an ally – most of the time – and it behooves us to police our own and help stem this influx of parasites into our sister nation.

Of course, perhaps America and Canada could team up and solve for two questions with a single answer. We could round up these Liberals and send them to Quebec! 😆

As pleasant for Americans as the thought of the Leftists fleeing in droves across our northern borders might be, this is purely a fantasy based upon an odd “article” that went viral across the internet.

Sadly, there are no large numbers of Liberals and Progressives fleeing from the revitalized United States.

The Manitoba Herald, while a real daily newspaper, was only published from January 11 – August 2, 1877; the supposed author of the article, Clive Runnels simply doesn’t exist; and the Manitoba farmer, Red Greenfield is likely a riff on the Canadian comic character, Red Green created by long time comedian, Steve Smith Jr. and his Morag.

NOTE: By way of irony and in the spirit of full disclosure, let me say that one of my wives, Kitsa is something akin to an arts-history major. She’s currently working on a postgraduate degree and certification in fiber-arts restoration, conservation, and curation.

Beyonce’s commercial for her perfume Heat is a little too hot for officials from the U.K. Advertising Standards Authority. They’ve decided that it was just to damn sexy to be allowed to be shown before 7:30 PM. 😆

We considered that Beyonce’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children.

Of course this is hardly a “Watershed moment” for either Beyonce’s first foray into the perfume industry or the BBC. If it had been for the latter, the commercial would not have been allowed to air before 9:00 PM. 😉

Of course I’m not going to pick on the British for refusing to air this extremely erotic commercial until slightly later in the evening. There’s no way it would be aired at all in the US without serious editing.

And it could be worse, a lot worse; Lady Gaga could make a commercial. There’s wouldn’t be enough hours in the night between Watershed and breakfast for them to make sure it aired late enough for the decency standards!

Prayer in Schools – Atheists hate it with a black, bleeding passion, Theists generally want it allowed, and some segments of the Christians – normally referred to as the Religious Right – absolutely demand it.

Not being one of the Godless, I have no hatred for most religious expression and strongly favor prayer being allowed in America’s schools. The Religious Right, however, might just choke on some of the effects of successfully demanding it though. 😉

The Three-fold Law & The Law of Unintended Consequences

Yeah, that might just stick in the craws of some people. That being the case and America being a tolerance-based religious plurality, though one de facto founded upon Judeo-Christian values, the phrase, “Be careful what you wish for,” should be kept firmly in mind.

NOTE: Notice how the Pagan schoolgirl’s 1st Amendment right to freely practice her religion has been violated for the sake of the school’s no weaponry policies? She’s been forced to perform her ritual without her athame! 😆

Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-NY) has been convicted on 11 of 13 charges of violating House ethics rules and bylaws.  Now the inveterate “playa,” founding member of the racist organization known as the Congressional Black Caucus, and “representative” for Harlem will face what amounts to a sentencing hearing before the entirety of the House Ethics Committee, who will pass on their punishment recommendations to the House.

Don’t expect much of anything to come of this though, despite the relative seriousness of the ethics violations that Rangel has been found guilty of.

Rangel Was Convicted Of The Following Counts

Count 1: Violating solicitation and gift ban: Soliciting donations and other things of value on behalf of the Rangel Center from persons or entities with business before him or his Ways and Means Committee.

Count 2: Violating code of ethics for government service: Accepting benefits under circumstances that could be construed as influencing the performance of his governmental duties, with respect to soliciting donations and other things of value on behalf of the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Policy at City College of New York.

Counts 4 and 5, merged into one count: Violating postal service laws and franking commission regulations: Mr. Rangel was accused of using his franking privileges for the benefit of a charitable organization and for solicitation of funds.

Count 6: Violating House Office Building Commission regulations. Mr. Rangel and his staff drafted solicitation letters on House property.

Count 7: Violation of the Purpose Law and the Member’s Congressional Handbook: Mr. Rangel used House employees and other official House resources for work related to the Rangel Center and used his Congress member’s allowance to pay expenses related to the Rangel Center.

Count 8: Violation of letterhead rule: Mr. Rangel sent letters related to the Rangel Center on House letterhead.

Count 9: Violating Ethics in Government Act and House Rule 26: Mr. Rangel submitted incomplete and inaccurate financial disclosure statements, and failed to report or erroneously reported items he was required to disclose under the Ethics in Government Act from 1998 through 2008. In particular, Mr. Rangel amended certain financial disclosure statements only after a House committee began investigating his reporting of income from his Dominican villa.

Count 10: Violating code of ethics for government service: Mr. Rangel leased a rent-stabilized apartment on Lenox Terrace in Harlem for residential use only, but was allowed by the landlord, a developer whom Mr. Rangel dealt with in his Congressional capacity, to use the apartment as office space for his campaign committee. The arrangement could be construed as influencing the performance of Mr. Rangel’s official duties.

Count 11: Violating the Code of Ethics for Government Service: Mr. Rangel violated the code by failing to report rental income on his Dominican villa.

Count 12: Violating the letter and spirit of House Rules listed above.

Count 13: Conduct reflecting discreditably on the House: Mr. Rangel’s improper solicitations and acceptance of donations for the Rangel Center; his misuse of House staff, letterhead and franking privilege for the Rangel Center solicitations; his failure to file full financial disclosure statement; his failure to report the rental income on his Dominican villa; and his use of his rent-controlled residential apartment for his campaign office all brought discredit to the House.

The House could expel him from Congress over charges such these, but anyone with even half a brain knows that they would never enact such a punishment upon Rangel.

Most likely all that Rangel will receive as punishment for his multi-decade career of corruption is a “sternly worded letter of reprimand” that will be delivered to him in relative private. At the very most, and this is highly unlikely, the House will formally censure him, which means that “sternly worded letter of reprimand” will be read aloud before the House and entered into the House records verbatim.

Do not, even for a second, believe that the American people can get justice from Congress or expect them to police their own. The only way we, the People can moderate their behavior is to take matters into our own hands and enact such justice or retribution upon them as we see fit.

The soon-to-be former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi was one of President Obama’s most feared and savage myrmidons. She was, and may well still be to some extent, a brutal, authoritarian leader for the Liberals who had insinuated themselves into the US House of Representatives. No one single person did so much or sunk so low as Nancy Pelosi did to further Obama’s and the Liberals’ Statist, neo-Socialist fever dreams.

It is not then surprising that Nancy Pelosi was also the biggest loser in the 2010 Congressional Mid-Term Elections. She’s losing the office of House Speaker and she’s seemed to have lost the confidence of the surviving House Democrats.

Of course Pelosi’s delusions know few, if any, bounds are are likely not amenable to conventional therapy. I doubt that she’ll quietly slink off into that dark night of obscurity. She’s not possessed of such basic grace, and she may be looking to get some “pay back” against the Obama Regime, who she no doubts holds responsible for her own failure,
