Car Troubles

Posted in Humor, Politics on May 17th, 2009

Having car troubles – i.e. having your automobile malfunction – is a royal pain in the ass. Nobody likes it, except the mechanics of course. They get paid to find and fix those problems.

Of course, sometimes finding out what the problem is doesn’t mean that it’s fixable. This is often the case when one either uses substandard parts to start with or adds shoddy after-market modifications conceived of in the 3rd-World. 😉

Too Black To Fail?

Posted in Politics, Society on May 14th, 2009

If you remember, AIG and some other financial institutions had to be bailed out because they were considered “too big to fail.” It was though that the consequences of allowing them to go under were great and horrible for it to be allowed to happen, and so the federal government bailed them out.

So…Is President Obama – America’s First Black President – protected by a similar set of fears. Is President Obama too Black to fail? Are the consequences of America’s First Black POTUS failing perceived as being so horrible that Blacks, Liberals and  the Mainstream Media (MSM) will refuse to say anything against President Obama no matter what he does or fails to do?

This isn’t an idle question. Even Wanda Sykes alluded to the phenomenon during what passed for her comedy routine at the recent 2009 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

This is amazing, the First Black President – I know you’re biracial – but the First Black President! You’re proud to be able to say that – The First Black President. That’s unless you screw up. Then it’s going to be,‘What’s up with the half-white guy, huh? Who voted for the mulatto, what the hell?’

Sometimes both children and the insane speak wisdom and truth. Blacks might feel the need to separate themselves from Obama if Obama fails, lest Obama’s failure be seen as the Blacks’ failure and return them to the outskirts of American national politics.

It may well be that President Obama will continue to be America’s First Black President only so long as he maintains a certain level of popularity. Direct reference to his White heritage may be allowed, and even encouraged, if he doesn’t do so.

The election of Barack Obama is good for black people in a way that it is not so, necessarily, for whites or others: it liberates blacks from the debilitating mindset of seeing themselves as victims in America. Obama’s victory enables blacks to be, in the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “free at last.” Free to be Americans stripped from the legacy of second-class citizenship. Free to be seen in the eyes of one’s fellow citizens as inherently as capable as others without the historical restrictions imposed by skin color. While it may also be said that the election of Obama is good for whites in that it ends what many characterize as “white guilt,” ending black victimology is without rival with respect to the good that instantly came to blacks with the election of Obama.

But what happens to those Blacks who are “free at last” and to those Liberals who relishing the lessening of their “white guilt” if President Obama is a failure or is perceived to be so?

Will Blacks, Liberals and the MSM “bail out” President Obama by refusing to acknowledge any of his errors or the negative consequences of his administration because he’s too Black to fail?

Olivia & Lucas’s Father

Posted in Humor, Society on May 13th, 2009

Wanda Sykes - Black, Dyke, Full of PrideWanda Sykes, very outspoken – that’s the polite way of describing it I’m told – Black activist and Gay activist and sometime comedienne, and her lesbian wife, Alexandra are the presumably proud parents of fraternal twins, Olivia Lou and Lucas Claude, who were born on April 27, 2009.

Despite some people’s fears about homosexual parents, I believe that The Sykeses(?) – if either Wanda or Alexandra are Feminists, as so many lesbians are, do they take the butcher of the pair’s last name? – will be good and loving parents.

Hey, having two moms can be a good thing!

Still, I think that, given the confusion that their children are going to experience as they grow up, they should be introduced to their birth father.

Mr. Turkey Baster, titular sire of Olivia and Lucas, has not been identified or located. Sadly it seems that we have yet another irresponsible “Baby Daddy” out there. I’m fairly sure he’ll show up around Thanksgiving though. 😉

It’s Just Monkeyshines

Posted in Humor, Politics, Society on May 13th, 2009

There’s a lot outrage over the “jokes” that Wanda Sykes made during what passed for her performance 2009 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. A great deal of what she said seems to have offended at great number of people for a variety of reasons. Why? I can see very little point in being outraged by anything that came out of Sykes’ mouth that night.

Wanda Sykes – Just Monkeyshines

Folks, get over it; it’s just monkeyshines – i.e. a prank or a bit of humor – albeit crass and poorly thought-out humor. A Black dyke, possessed of uncertain comedic talent and a somewhat lackluster career, got up in front of a group of people largely composed of Liberals and did her particular version of the minstrel show for them. That her mouthings were little more than a verbal equivalent of “throwing poo” at anyone and everyone who disagreed with President Obama should have come as no surprise to anyone. Her agents “hired her out” to Obama and his Liberals for the night; of course her attempts at humor would be designed to curry their favor.

But damn! Her voice. It sounded like she had some of her lezzie lover’s pubes caught in her throat. You’d think she’d gargle or something before going on stage.

So don’t let Wanda Sykes’ monkeyshines bother you. Take them for they are and take Wanda Sykes for what she is. Does she or her opinions deserve the level of respect implied by people feeling outrage at anything she says? Please! That’s akin to being outraged by seeing animals breed at a zoo.

OK, seeing Sykes doing anything akin to breeding would cause my stomach outrage. Face it, despite some of her “jokes,” naked picture of her could really help the Abstinence Only programs!

NOTE: The above post is humor – in a similar vein to Sykes’ own attempt at such. Don’t take it too seriously since “it’s just humor” and is even categorized as such on this blog in order to provide context. 😉 So, it has to be OK, right? After all, there’s no reason for anyone to get upset by this sort of “humor,” now is there?

Of course this post wasn’t a perfect mockery of Wanda Sykes’ “unique” brand of humor. I chose not to say that I wish that Sykes, her “wife,” Alex, her daughter, Olivia Lou, or her son, Lucas Claude died of either horrible disease or violence. Sorry about that; I guess I’m just not as “funny” as she is.

It’s Not Her Tits (NSFW)

Posted in Society on May 10th, 2009

Carrie Prejean sort of semi-nudeCarrie Prejean, currently Miss California, may have her title stripped from her by the Miss USA pageant administration.  She may also lose her position as first runner-up in the 2009 Miss USA pageant, which was held April 19. Both decisions may well be announced tomorrow (Monday, May 10, 2009).

If she is stripped of the title and position that she earned it won’t be because of the semi-nude photos of her that were released by those who are unfriendly towards her – though those photos will undoubtedly be used as the excuse and/or justification for her punishment.

Miss Prejean won’t lose her title over the fact that there are photos in which her tits – which the Miss USA pageant bought for her – weren’t covered by fabric.  If she is stripped of her Miss California title, it’ll be be because she wouldn’t say that she supported Gay Marriage.

Voicing beliefs that don’t match the queers’ agenda is grounds for insult and now punishment.

If having had nude or semi-nude photos of ones’ self in existance were a problem for contestants in the Miss USA pageant, then Miss Rhode Island, Alysha Castonguay, would have been censured as well. While serving as  a New England Patriots Cheerleader she posed semi-nude for Maxim magazine. The Miss USA pageant coordinators had no problems with these photos.

No, it won’t be Carrie Prejean’s unclothed breasts that cost her the Miss California title and that of first runner-up in the 2009 Miss USA pageant. It’ll be because she had the temerity to say when asked that she believed that marriage is between a man and woman as her Christian faith directs her to do.

~*~

NOTE: The Miss USA pageant does have perfectly legal grounds under their contract with Ms. Prejean to strip her of her titles. She did in fact violate her contract with them by not telling them of the semi-nude photos existence. Ms. Castonguay is said to have been upfront about the fact that she had been in at least one semi-nude photoset.

Of course Alysha Castonguay’s semi-nude photos were published in Maxim magazine for all the world to see, whereas Ms. Prejean’s semi-nude photos were made when she was beginning her modeling career at 17 and were merely part of her portfolio which would be sent to various agencies and clients.

But every thinking American knows that the only reason that she’s being persecuted is because she refused to set aside her faith for the sake of the queers’ agenda and the anti-American atrocity of political correctness.
