Reflections From a Murky Pond

Yes, that really is Detroit and not some beleaguered shithole in Haiti or in Sub-Saharan Africa. It’s a sad fact that some Third World problems are also First World problems.

But really, all snarkiness aside, the fact that they found a bag of cocaine in a cubby near the White House’s West Executive entrance but claim to have no way of determining who left it there means of two things: they’re lying because of whose cocaine it is, or; there’s a lot less functional security in place at critical ingress points of the White House than most of us believe.

That perfectly sums up the discord between the #Woke crowd and the American people. Their narrative is almost always debunked by the facts, and they hate those of us that place more value upon facts than the “lived experiences and narratives” of whatever specially protected group of non-normative sorts that the wokesters currently favor.

But then, they’ve never care much about or for the truth. This is because they entire position is that the truth doesn’t matter if that truth doesn’t harm normal, right-acting Americans.

I’m not outright saying that “Creepy Uncle Joe” Biden is a pedophile – though he has a multi-decades-long history of coming across as one – or that he’s knowing and deliberately directly involved in child trafficking. This is more of a case of sufficient apathy and incompetence being indistinguishable from malfeasance and culpability.

Biden & Co.’s rush to get unaccompanied illegal immigrant children out of the processing centers at our beleaguered southern border and into our country has resulted in 85,000 of those 300,000 unaccompanied minors going missing. They’re in the wind and utterly unaccounted for… except for those that been found as victims of trafficking, both sexual and otherwise. They were so concerned about getting votes and overturning any and all border security measures enacted by or under President Trump that they seemingly didn’t give a tinker’s dam about what happened to these children afterwards. Or, maybe they did, since illegals serving as something akin to slave labor seems to be a core component of Democrat economic policy.

As I said at the beginning though, I don’t believe that this is something that Biden is actively shooting for. I do, however, believe that the situation is indistinguishable from it and the Biden and his people should be dealt with exactly as if he and they were deliberately committing child trafficking.

As with most things, the SCOTUS’ recent decision that using race as a criteria for college enrollment is unconstitutional has its good and its related though largely irrelevant bad.

The Good

Almost everyone would agree that race should not be a criterion for anything. Well, they would if the race wasn’t Black. But, of course, the entirety of the Left and the “Black Community” does want race to be a criterion… if the race is Black and they get comparatively lowered admission standards. They unashamedly admit that the Blacks can’t meet normative admission standards.

But then, that is the entire premise of Equity! Hence, it’s good that this has been, at least insofar, as college admissions are concerned, finally eradicated by the SCOTUS.

The Bad

The Left and their Black sharecroppers have been ranting how Legacies still get preferential admissions and, while its irrelevant and nothing but a subnormal straw man, they are right in their assertion that Legacies are bad. They suck. They are based upon nothing resembling merit or ability. But they’re also not something that law or the courts can correct for.

Hellfire! I’d like to an end to athletic scholarships too. But that would really set off the Blacks.
