Yeah, an M1 Garand chambered for .458 Winchester Magnum (Win-Mag) is a weapon you go to when it’s just time to say, “Fuck it! Fuck you! Fuck Everything!” and just cut loose, irrespective of the cost in pain. 😉

OK, funny as the above is, an M1 Garand in .458 Win-Mag is going to weigh in at or near 10lbs, whereas the Weatherby Mark 5 (a much more normal/common weapon in this caliber) in the same chambering weighs in around 6.5lbs. That’s a significant increase in weight (35%) with a commensurate reduction of recoil passed through one’s shoulder.
But yeah, load this beautiful beast up with 400gr FN ammo and unleash the hell that comes with 5,411 foot-pounds (7,336 J) of muzzle energy.

One could probably substitute any channel’s “news” group meeting for NBC’s Today Show and be accurate enough for everyday use. They’ve all, except for Fox News, lost the trust and the viewership of both Americans and the Democrats, and they seem to choose to double-down on Leftist, anti-Trump editorializing instead of correct their behavior.
Ah well; stupid should be painful and they’ve collectively been grossly stupid. They went full-on Libtard – one should never go full-on Libtard 😆 – and threw away the trust and viewership of the American people, leaving stuck with pandering to the Left in order to stay afloat.
