Whoever will be free must make himself free. Freedom is no fairy gift to fall into a man’s lap. What is freedom? To have the will to be responsible for one’s self.

Chaos is perhaps the most overused and misused term in science today. That being said, Gentlemen, we don’t have to understand chaos or the deeper meaning behind the Butterfly Effect. We just have to be aware of- and beware of the problems it can, does, and will cause us in life. 😉
So, Illinois’ Democrat gun-grabbers and their Governor, recently passed one of the most draconian and unconstitutional firearm, firearm accessories, and ammunition bans in US history. But, thanks be to Heaven and patriots with the means to do something, the immediate effect of the Dems’ criminal misconduct was a legal insurrection. 85 out of the 102 Illinois Sheriffs declared that they will not enforce this illegal law nor incarcerate citizens who are in arrested by other law enforcement agencies because of that law.
Obviously the Democrat Legislators and their Governor, JB Pritzker are shocked, dismayed, and outraged by the mass insurrection of Illinois’ Sheriffs Departments. But, what are they going to do against these patriots? Not only does Pritzker and the rest of the gun-grabbers have little to no practical recourse, but these are collectively a large, well-armed and equipped, organized group of patriots. They’re not the sort people that politicians should really want to push too far. 😉
Oranges, the best Chinese New Years Gift to give someone. 😉 Of course, the display should be beautiful as well and tie into the meaning/predictions of the zodiac sign involved, in this case that would be the Rabbit.
Today is the Asian Lunar New Year and the beginning of the Year Of The Rabbit.
So… Relax, Think Happy Thoughts, Get Lucky, And Make Some Babies?
Yes, in China and across most of Asia, this now the Year Of The Rabbit, specifically the Water Rabbit. It is considered the luckiest zodiac year, characterized by peaceful and patient energy, good luck, creativity, and fertility.
But, in Vietnam, It’s The Year Of The Cat
As I wrote though, it’s the Year Of The Rabbit across most of Asia. In Vietnam – possibly because of odd crossovers between the pronunciation of rabbit in Mandarin and the written form in Kmer; possibly because the Vietnamese have a longstanding and not unexpected bias against the Chinese – this is the start of the Year Of The Cat.
So, so as to both limit Chinese cultural tyranny and to make some inroads against my own personal anti-Vietnamese bias, here’s some fine cats as well. After all, 50 years is a bit long to hang on to that level of hate. 😉
This is Israel, the real Israel, not the apartheid myth promulgated by the worlds anti-Semites. This is two Israeli women, one Jewish and one Muslim – each praying in the respective ways that the bus they’ll soon board won’t be attacked by Palestinian terrorists.
