My thoughts go out to all the family members that lost a loved one on this day 7 years ago. Also, to all the brave men and women that risked their lives on search and rescue operations looking for survivors. This country owes you a debt of gratitude for the peril you risked and for your sacrifices; many have paid dearly for with serious health problems.

That image still brings tears to my eyes, seven years later. I cannot believe that such a period of time has passed. I still remember where I was when I first heard, first saw… thank you for the reminder.

Yes, I remember also where I was. When I heard it on the car radio I couldn’t believe it and switched stations several time only to hear the same thing. At that point I went back to our field office and watched the news. It was unbelievable watching both towers fall. Yes, God bless them all.
