Reflections From a Murky Pond

The internet is, to most people’s minds, a fairly new bit of technology. It’s not though. It’s just incremental advancement in technology serving the same needs and desires as its antecedents.

Yep! People Writing On Walls And Worshiping Cats

History doesn’t so much repeat itself as people repaint and reinvent the same things and call it “new and improved.” 😆

And, for those that might care, pick up a copy of  The Victorian Internet and really get laugh at how little or nothing has changed.

America’s domestic enemies, in their cult-like devotion to big government, often harp on the supposed benefits of government innovation. To be fair, there once was a solid basis for this belief. The government used to provide a great service in aiding new technologies, products, and services reach the People and makes their lives better or easier.

That was a long time ago, for the most part, though. The steady, entropic march of “Progress” has degenerated government innovation in the same manner that it has degenerated all functions of the government.

Progress: Government Innovation

Really! Think about it. The last real innovation of merit by the government was the basic foundational underpinnings of the Internet. Even then, all they developed was the means to create a wide area network. The Internet, as we know it, grew out of the efforts of the private sector.

All the government innovates in these sad, modern times is new and creative ways to funnel Americans’ tax-dollars into the bank accounts of the politicians’ cronies and donors.

I would say that this is sad, but it isn’t really sad at all. It’s an indication that America needs little in the way of innovation in order to secure its borders, its people, and its interests.

This is because the vast majority of real government innovations are funded, researched, and developed by our Defense needs. Even the Internet was a DARPA project originally and even the heyday of NASA was a paroxysm of nationalism and fears of losing space to the Soviets.

I would say that the hypocrisy of the Liberals and Progressives knows no bounds but I’m not sure if it’s honest hypocrisy or a deliberate double-standard that they use in the war against America.

In either case, they love to make snide remarks about the “ignorant Americans,” And say that we refuse all progress and cannot understand or properly use scientific and technological advances. They claim that it is for them to usher in a new age, by force if needed and we poor, dumb Americans need to shut up and stay out of their way while they do it.

Progress Is Bad – If It Benefits Business

That’s the way of it with America’s domestic enemies, the Liberals and Progressives. They’ll snidely claim that Americans hate progress and can’t handle the rapid increase of technology but, at the same time, will rant about any and every advance that benefits the corporations that our the foundation of America’s wealth.

Of course, like all things involving groups of people in the real world, this isn’t a completely hard and fast rule. The worthless filth of the Left don’t have any problems with corporations or activities that increase their personal comfort. Not one will cry foul over Apple’s use of foreign quasi-slave labor or curtail their drug use due to the violence it causes.

Yeah, they’re in favor of very selective progress, progress that meaningfully benefits nobody but them.

Fortunately, American’s don’t have to pay heeds to these vermin’s rantings or insults.  While we must grant our domestic enemies their right to speak, we don’t have to listen to them, lend credence to any of their claims or even allow them to promulgate their beliefs through our schools systems.

Let me tell you what is coming. After the sacrifice of countless billions of treasure and hundreds of thousands of lives you may win a Liberal State, but I doubt it. Americans are determined to restore this Nation. We are not a fiery, impulsive people as you are, for we live rational lives filled with responsibilities. But when we begin to move in a given direction, we move with the steady momentum and perseverance of a mighty avalanche.

One of the biggest problems that face evil overlords, whether they be The Empire or Apple, is labor. It’s hard, though not impossible, to find good help these days, as Apple’s iTrooper certainly proves.

These Aren’t The Droids You’re Looking For

The ever gullible iTrooper, well-compensated but poorly trained and inflexible, falls for the Jedi mind trick every time. These just must not be the droids he’s looking for.

On the other hand, these are the droids you’re looking for, as is this one.

American genius is nigh on axiomatic across the globe – or, at least, it was. It doesn’t seem to be anymore and I’m not sure when, where, how, or why we lost our inventive genius.

Inventive Genius – A Lost American Art form

C’mon! This shouldn’t be a “motivational poster.” It should be de rigueur in America. Our nation was built upon our seeing a need – or creating one – and building some widget to fulfill it.
