Suicide In America

Suicide in America and by America is on the rise and it’s being assisted by Islam and using Liberals and Progressives as weapon. And yes, it will be our domestic enemies, the Liberals and Progressives who are our proximate cause of death. Islam and various other enemy groups will just fight over our nation’s carcass.

Face facts; how can it be viewed any other way after a crazed Muslim terrorist – one who had been previous investigated as a terrorist twice by Obama’s FBI – decided to adhere to the Qur’an and launch a terrorist attack upon a gay bar in Orlando, FL, butchering dozens and wounding dozens more and the Left blamed:

• Firearms
• Christianity
• Generalized and Unspecific Homophobia

They won’t even mention Islam or Muslims except to: say that it’s they’re no way to blame for terrorism; must be protected, no matter what, from anything and everything; and that Muslims are horribly oppressed by the American people.

This is to be expected. Liberals and Progressives are dealing with the intersectionality of otherness. Since both Muslims and Queers are considered sufficiently other to gain the Left’s loyalty and special protections, they were suddenly placed in the awkward and conflicted position of having to on the fly determine a hierarchy of otherness and privilege.

Rather than do that they chose to cast blame on anything and everything that is generally considered normal and normative by Americans and tried their best to convince themselves that there is equivalency between not wanting to bake a cake for a queer wedding and gunning down a club full of queers.

Of course, one could pick any one of many, many other incidents involving interactions between the Liberals’ and Progressives’ individuals or groups possessing specially protected traits and find similar responses, especially when two or more such groups are in conflict.

Hence, America’s suicide will be by Liberalism; it’s the gun our nation has placed in its mouth. Islam is merely the current finger cocking the hammer.

I know it’s hard to believe, but a Democrat – a quite progressive one for the time – once said this:

Yes, Robert Kennedy said this during his 1966 address to the students and faculty of he University of Capetown, South Africa. Of course, this was just a few weeks shy of 50 years ago and in the intervening decades the Democrats and their Liberal and Progressive adherents have degenerated to the point where the very mention of God or religion – except to deny the former and lambast the latter – is anathema to them.

No, no longer could or would a Democrat describe Man as the child of God.

So too during the Left’s fall from vestiges of Americanism it once had, did they decide to revile most forms of mention of the enlargement of liberty for individual human beings, demanding instead a collective ethical consciousness that places non-sexual individual liberty subservient to both the State and the collective.

As I wouldn’t want to be called “Eurocentric” or anything like that, I’d like to wish you all a slightly belated Happy Holi as well as Ä’ostre. Got to keep up with the multicultural ethic, after all.

OK, OK! All sarcasm aside, I just plain forgot that yesterday was technically Holi. My wives and I actually celebrate this Hindu holiday but, like many such things in the States, when the holiday falls on a weekday the big celebrations and ceremonies are normally held on the nearest weekend. Hence, Sunday we’ll be having fun and getting colorful at this year’s Rangwali Holi.

And hey! Holi’s even more colorful than Ä’ostre.

To celebrate Ä’ostre – that’d be Easter for you Christians – this year Reflections From A Murky Pond is adding to its Beautiful Faces Project.

More and for some metrics better things come in bright, Spring colors than painted eggs, after all and beautiful women with their hair colored in such decorative manners are certainly one of them.

Oh! And, Ä’ostre being a holy day that celebrates the return of life to the world and fertility, just like the Easter Bunny, the beauties above are most definitely evocative of a more natural egg hunt. 😉

There can be little to no doubt that Liberal logic is Dhimmi logic when it comes to dealing with Muslims. Then, Liberal logic has always been predicated upon a miscegenate offspring of oikophobia and fear. It is the logic of the Heckler’s Veto crossed with that of the White Man’s Burden.

This is what we consistently hear from the Liberals and Progressives within our borders – that Muslims are a peaceful people … but that any action that we take to protect ourselves from their proven acts of violence and terrorism against us in the name of jihad will cause them to radicalize and become violent. These Liberals and Progressives even go so far as to claim that actually believing and accepting the existence of their jihad is a recruitment tool for the jihadis and terrorists.
