Reflections From a Murky Pond

I’ve no evidence to support – and I looked as best as I could, but there’s very little information available on Chinese curricula – and tend to disbelieve that Chinese 3rd Graders are being taught multi-variable calculus, but Mrs. Paul’s point is still very well-made and shouldn’t be discounted because of what was most likely deliberate hyperbole.

Chinese students of all ages are taught core skills needed to succeed, as well as patriotism – though we obviously and rightly don’t like the latter in China case. They’re not being taught that “make a guess about whether the baby is a boy or girl.” And I very highly doubt that they’re having or will ever have regular “story time” with Drag Queens.

Chinese student are also not being taught that there are only two types of people in China, Oppressors and Oppressed. Whereas, more and more, what passes for schools and teachers in America are teaching exactly that from K-12, with the Oppressors being Whites and the Oppressed being everyone else who isn’t White.

And this isn’t in the long run going to end well for us. When China – and a lot of other nations – are both more committed to teaching the next generations what they need to know while those in our schools are committed to teaching the next generations so much that is both wrong and harmful, the future of our nation is bleak indeed.

Funny, delightfully sarcastic, but also very sadly and not unexpectedly true. The Western aphorism, “shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations” and the Chinese proverb, “Wealth does not last beyond three generations” exist for a reason. That reason being that they’ve been proven to be true.

And those of old enough to be part of the “Ass Whooping” Generation are somewhat to blame for what our grandchildren in this “Time Out” Generation have degenerated into, as are our children from the “You’re Grounded” Generation. Our parents raised us to succeed. We raised our children in that success. And they raised there’s to feel entitled by it.

And no, before anyone comments, there is no profundity in this on my part. It’s prosaic to the point of triteness. And yet, it needs to be repeated since every generation seems shocked by how badly our grandchildren turn out.

While I still maintain that the greatest danger that Creepy Uncle Joe “Bad Hands” Biden poses to America and the world is that he’ll start a devastating a disastrous war by accident, the existential risk that he’s going to do so deliberately cannot be overlooked. In his rotted-out, dementia-addled mind, he and the the American people are already at war. He actually is already at war with Russia and is sure that we are as well.

He actually even says it weekly, if not daily. Anytime he speaks of inflation, especially energy and/or fuel costs, he says we’re at war or these are times of war with Russia. Time and time again, he’s said this and will likely continue to do so because, in what’s left of his mind it’s true.

But remember, Biden was born during WW2 and literally grew up in and into the nadir of the Cold War. All of his formative years were based upon Russia being and existential threat and global military force being the last, best deterrent for- and force against Russia. And, with his declining mental faculties, I really don’t believe that he can understand that the world has changed.

And that, my Fellow Americans, is more than a little scary. This isn’t just or exactly saber rattling to act the strong man on the world’s stage; that would be both normal under these conditions and not a bad thing at all. This is looking at the American people and key American business sectors and saying that we are at war already and all need to behave that way. That is how you actually start a war as any student of history can tell you.

Yeah, in my opinion, the senile dodderer inhabiting the White House “missed out” on the “great” war against Russia he was promised for the 44 years since he was 4 years old. It also doesn’t get a lot better if my opinion of Biden’s mental state is inaccurate. This is because the only sane reason for his war talk is to lay the groundwork for- or threaten using various codicils of the War Powers Act and Defense Production Act to turn America into a Command Economy, with the Federal Government taking control of production in most or all key sectors thereof.

Biden’s at war. Whether it’s against Russia, as is likely given the presentation of his symptoms, or against America’s free, capitalist economy, is unknown. The first cure for either though is to use the 2022 and 2024 elections to remove him and his enablers from power and restore the greatness and security of America to her People.

The 4th Is Also National Grillin’ Day

The 4th of July isn’t just Independence Day. It’s also, unofficially but truly in general practice, national grillin’ day, when people of all sorts and stripes either grill or attend cookouts where someone is grillin’.

I, personally think that the grillin’ is the best part, or damn close to it, of the 4th’s celebrations. But then, I grill at least once a week, almost every week of year. Well, that and I’m not a fan of night filled with fireworks.

Some Bits Of Advice

One, while the grill is far, far, far more often than not a Man’s Zone, if you can find a woman who loves grillin’, Put. A. Ring. On. Her. Wife her right the fuck up!

Two, do not be that asshole. If your woman pre-prepped all the meats and vegetables, possibly including deciding upon and applying the marinades and/or rubs; and/or she made all the sides, desserts, and whatnot, DO. NOT. TAKE. CREDIT. FOR. THIS FEAST! It was a joint venture, one in which she did the bulk of the work, leaving you to apply your specific skillset to properly applying fire and smoke to food. Both in your own mind and in response to any compliments you get, make this clear.

Trust me in this, Gentlemen; not only will the above advice prevent you from being that asshole – and we all know or know of at least one of them – it will be to your direct benefit to heed me in this.

America The Beautiful, one of the truest and most loved of our patriotic music – though, obviously one derided and spurned by our domestic enemies, is, alongside The Star Spangled Banner, a favorite for this day, the 4th of July, and the anniversary of the difficult and bloody birth of our nation and our people’s liberation from tyranny.

But, despite the ugliness and even uglier rhetoric and strongly held beliefs of the enemies within our borders, America is beautiful. From Southeastern swamps to Northwestern rainforests; from Northeastern bogs to Southwestern deserts; America is filled with beauty and beautiful people.

Indeed, the one good that our enemies unintentionally provide is that the ugliness of the these weeds points out and draws attention to the splendor of the roses in our nation’s collective garden. Hence, like tares sown by the enemy throughout our amber fields of grain, perhaps they should be left until the upcoming harvest before being gathered and destroyed.
