Reflections From a Murky Pond

It’s all over the internet today that Obama said to one or more of his aides, “I’m really good at killing people,” while discussing his drone warfare program. This has, of course and somewhat rightly, raised an internet shit storm over this statement.

Personally, as easy as it is for me to jump to the conclusion that Obama is totally morally bereft and enjoys his ability to murder with impunity, I’d like the full context of his statement before making any judgements. I don’t know if it was a boast, as is claimed, or part of a larger conversion that puts the statement in a completely different light.

I’ve made essentially the same statement about myself because it’s true and, at times, it’s something that I lament. Hence, I can’t judge Obama’s statement without further information and I’m little frustrated with way others are doing so as it shows a ease of credulity that is disturbing.

You really can’t properly describe ObamaCare without using the words: failure, breakdown, broken, and disaster. At best, it’s apologists and Obama’s cultists can only use euphemisms for these words.

ObamaCare Breakdown

One can’t expect better though. Whenever a troupe of ignorant and foolish people, led by something that nothing more or better is a bastard hybrid between a grifter and buffoon, tries to build something that they have no understanding of, failure, disaster, and breakdowns are all that can be expected by anyone not blinded by hope.

The shortage of doctors in America and both the impact that this will have on ObamaCare and the impact that ObamaCare will have on this growing shortage can only be resolved in one fashion – assuming, of course, that ObamaCare continues. The government must force medical professionals to accept any and all patients that the government decides upon. Nothing short of enslaving doctors to the will of the State will work.

This is also the only way to make a dent in the costs of healthcare in America. Stripping doctors of the liberty to decide upon which and how many patients to take on will allow the government to decide upon how much they will pay doctors for the services and what specific services, tests, procedures, and medications they will provide those patients.

The only questions are whether providing doctors to anyone and everyone is worth stripping medical professionals of the Constitutionally enumerated rights and which will be the next profession that the government determines must be enslaved for “general welfare.”

OK; there’s one final question – Why in the name of the Gods hasn’t the American people risen up, dragged any and all of the politicians who advocate this – and any families they might have – into the public square, and burned them to death?

Once again America is about to be in yet another budget crisis or, at least, we’re about to be in another episode of Reality TV as Congress, Obama, and the various MSM pundits take part in their theatrical production over the debt ceiling.

How The Budget Is Spent

It’s all just kabuki though. The problem is far less about the budget and the amount of spending than it is about who and what is glutting themselves upon the American people’s hard-earned wealth.

It’s not like the government, especially under the rule of the Obama Regime is ever going to starve. The only way we, the People are ever going to end their gluttony is to slit their throats.
