Reflections From a Murky Pond

Both Lammas and Mabon are past, the first and second harvests have been reaped, and Autumn is fully upon us here in the north. Now we’ve entered my favorite time of year.

While each season has its place and its own special beauty, Autumn is, to me at least, the most delicious of times.

The cool air, warm colors, and the sense that all of nature is making ready to turn inward towards the hearth to rest and enjoy the bounty of the harvest all combine to make this a joyful time.

Domestic bliss and/or a happy home life – Easy to fantasize about but oft times harder achieve. It helps though if one remembers that home is where the hearth is and that there’s a blurred line between the sensual pleasures of the kitchen and those of the bedroom. 🙂

Please note though, this is only part of the joy. Desirable women in general and erotica in specific should not be constrained to the “traditional” domestic settings. There are, after all, so many other options nowadays.

I’ll bet you never knew that, along with being a top flight mathematician, Dr. Richard Garfield was a fashion designer as well. 😆

I’ve made jokes before about the way that men and women size each other up upon seeing each others. Now it’s time to showcase same sex behaviors and the differences in the levels of silent communication that go on when two women and two men see each other.

Really! They’re quite different. There’s no way that men will ever be able to match the levels and complexity of women’s silent communication.

In an admittedly odd bout of sensibility Florida, not a state known for decriminalizing anything, has chosen to greatly reduce the penalties that minors  suffer from getting caught sexting each other – and it was Governor Rick Scott pushed for the change, which surprises me – pleasantly so – even more.

Now, instead of teens immediately facing felony charges for distributing child pornography and a lifetime on the sexual offenders registry, their first offense is non-criminal and results in merely a $60 fine and eight hours of community service. Even the second offense is only a first-degree misdemeanor. Third and subsequent offenses, however, still carry the same felony charges and penalties as before.
