We must respect the other fellow’s religion, but only in the sense and to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart.

See? All it takes to turn smut into art is to make it black and white. 😆 It’s like that, at least where photography is concerned. You just have to desaturate your porn and it becomes artistic. Play with the focus, sharpness, and contrast, and it could even end up in a gallery. 😉
She’s A Bit Narcissistic But That’s OK (Clink to Enlarge)
Yeah, it’s true. She’s a bit narcissistic, but that’s both OK and understandable. She’s more than quite cute and quite beautiful as well. A bit – or more than a bit – of self-love seems appropriate to me. 😉
But, what’s sad is how few, especially among the younger Millennials and Gen Z won’t get the humor in this. Since actually teaching classical art is now “racist,” not many under 45 are going to recognize this work as a riff upon- or homage to Carvaggio’s “Narcissus.” Even worse, since they’ve also decided that teaching Greek history and mythology is “racist,” the broken, younger generations don’t even have the education to know who Narcissus was!
Picture, if you will, Star Wars set in an alternate WW2 world. I, at least, find that a very cool fantasy, at least somewhat because of the extreme innovation attempts that were made during and immediately after WW2 in the field of aviation. That adds a certain specialness to the artworks above.
Artist and Imagineer, Shaun Keenan has given us something wonderful – a version of America’s Wild West that we never knew that we always wished for. 😀 Yes, Keenan has envisioned and drawn a Wild West full of dinosaurs.
The 19th Century We Wish We Had
Forget Ken Ham’s Creation Museum with it’s somewhat Flintstones-esque cavemen and dinosaurs; Dinosaurs of the Wild West is the sort of park I’d love to visit. Well, so long as we keep scientists under a necessary level of control… because I want exactly no part of a Jurassic Park–West Word crossover. 😆
