Profligate Wealth Displays In These Biden Times

Profligate wealth displays have always been part and parcel of civilization. However, in these days of the collapsing economy due to Bidenomics and its Bidenflation, grocery shopping – especially if you’re filling your cart and not looking at it in despair – is the most effective profligate display of your wealth. It’s far more effective than bling or a fancy car.

Palestine 1977

Palestine 1977 – A Lie Then, A Lie Now

Just a brief bit of history to remind people – and Democrats and Muslims – that the myth of Palestine and Palestinian people has been around for a while, and no Arab leader has ever, even when it power in the area, created a nation called Palestine. The closest to Palestine that ever existed was the 2nd Century AD Roman name for the entire region, Syria Palaestina.

There was never any real attempt to provide the “Palestinians” with a nation to call their own. If there had been, or even any compassion from other Arab types, there would be 1.5 million or more “Palestinians” living in 58 UN-recognized Palestine refugee camps in: Jordan, Lebanon, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. And they certainly wouldn’t be on their 3rd generation in the those camps.

Biden’s Banking Trend?

I sort of wonder if Biden’s handling of sensitive material will start a banking trend, at least amongst Democrats. 😆

Actionable Affirmations

Orthocegenation - Actionable Affirmations
Orthocegenation – Actionable Affirmations

Since it’s once again Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it seems to me to be the most appropriate time to remind all you, my fellow White Men, that Orthocegenation is the best way to reach the goals of equality. Providing Black Women with our children and our support as fathers to those children are actionable affirmations that we are all Americans and all committed to a better, brighter future for those children.

The arc of justice may be long, but we can shorten it. So, do the Right, White thing and include Black women in your reproductive choices and, all else being equal, choose them as them as mothers of your children. Indeed, if you accept the need for equity, prioritize your choice of them for motherhood. Remember, by diversifying our fatherhood we spread – dare I say redistribute? – our privilege, thereby reducing the gap between races.

USC's Field Negros

USC Bans Field

No. You can’t even make this shit up. I really don’t know if this is just what we allow to pass for colleges in California or a case of the Left Coast wanting to signal that they’re even #Woker than the Northeast. Either way though, USC’s Suzanne-Dworak-Peck School of Social Work wants everyone to know that use of the word “field” will no longer be tolerated.

As we enter 2023, we would like to share a change we are making at the Suzanne-Dworak-Peck School of Social Work to ensure our use of inclusive language and practice. Specifically, we have decided to remove the term ‘field’ from our curriculum and practice and replace it with ‘practicum.’ This change supports anti-racist social work practice by replacing language that could be considered anti-Black or anti-immigrant in favor of inclusive language. Language can be powerful, and phrases such as ‘going into the field’ or ‘field work’ may have connotations for descendants of slavery and immigrant workers that are not benign.

So, no more “field work,” and no more going into or being out “in the field.” Not sure how they’re planning to handle their “field of study.” 😆 But then, “anti-racism” is, more often than not, anti-sensical.

USC’s Suzanne-Dworak-Peck School of Social Work’s language policing does raise a singular, glaring question in my mind though. If they’re banning “field” from use due to it possibly having certain connotations for “descendants of slavery and immigrant workers,” are they also going to ban the use of “house?” After all, the House Negro is the antithesis of the Field Negro and holds extremely bad connotations to the majority of Blacks who always seem to need the charity of social work.
