Reflections From a Murky Pond

As Nicki Minaj let the world at large know, “My anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns, hun!” And yeah, my anaconda like him some warm buns and you don’t want to try to get him off them. 😆

Yes, back in the day, the “Press” was staffed largely by American journalists and editors. The press back then focused on facts and strove for objective reporting thereof. They deserved both their right to freely report upon our government and its officials and the various privileges that were granted to them, e.g., largely unfettered access to the halls of power and the credence and respect of the American people.

Now, however, the “Press” mostly doesn’t exist at the national level. There are few, if any, actual journalists left in that degenerated industry.  No. Now we don’t have a “Free Press.” What he have is an unregulated, largely accountable propaganda corps for the Democrat party being passed off as the 4^th Estate. No. What we now have is a Lamestream Enemedia spewing biased and fake news and, thereby, abrogating any 1^st Amendment rights they might have in the same way that criminals by their actions have abrogated certain of their basic rights.

Not that is is truly new. The MSM’s “calling” to #Resist anything That President Trump does or doesn’t do and their quite open alliance with anything that cries out #NeverTrump is merely the other side of the coin of their loyalties and ideology. They did, after all, spend eight years acting as Obama’s Praetorian Guard. They did, after all, spend those eight years shielding Obama from negative consequences and marginalizing any and all who spoke against his actions, rhetoric, and/or policies.

No. What the American people are dealing with now isn’t new. It’s just how the “Press” operates when their enemies have elected a POTUS.

The best response and American can give to any Liberal or Progressive or any of the ever-angry minorities that they pander to- and enable is, “Stay in your lane!”

After all, the sole form of valid knowledge about issues is “lived experience,” which they don’t possess. Hence, they need to “Stay in their lane” and not talk about the issue.

And, in all honesty, they’re NOT Americans because nobody can be an American who hates – on the rare-ish occasions that they respect America enough to hate it as opposed to loathing and despite – America, the normative American people, and the culture we built for ourselves. As such and following their own “logic,” they should never offer an unsolicited opinion upon these things anymore than they believe that Americans should interject themselves into their affairs.

 

America’s de facto motto has always been E pluribus unum (Out of Many, One) but the Leftists, these oikophobic ethnoguiltists with their various excrescences of “Identity Politics” are Hell-bent upon the opposite, Ex Uno Plures (Out of One, Many).

These days, it seems that everything that our domestic enemies do is predicated upon forcing an isolated identity upon every “group” inside America’s borders, whether it be according to age, race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual proclivities, economic means,  or whatever else they can find or create as and “Identity.” And woe betide any who either try to assimilate and just be Americans or who find some value in some other “groups” culture and choose to incorporate it into their lives.

For this, the 27^th Bikini Interlude, I decided to hit the beach for once. Aside from that, there’s really no real purpose to this post beyond providing myself and any who come here a brief interlude of beauty.
