Unbalanced Justice

Justice Is Out Of BalanceJustice Is Out Of Balance

Yes, if America’s criminal justice system wasn’t so out of balance, all of them would be in prison right now. Most of them would be at this point facing capital punishment.

Of course, if American justice still worked as well as used to, we’d have held or be holding our own version of the Nuremberg trials and everyone in the Obama Regime down to SS’s PPD details would be facing charges…

Lacustrine Mermaids

Lacustrine Mermaids

Most associate mermaids with the marine environment. It seems, however, that Gestiefeltekatze enjoys the beauty of mermaids who prefer to inhabit more lacustrine habitats.

As this blog is called Reflections From A Murky Pond, I’m 100% in favor of more freshwater mermaids, especially ones who love lakes and ponds. 😉

Do Check Your Privilege

Posted in Musings, Philosophy, Society on May 6th, 2015

Everyone, please do check you privileges. Oh, not in the manner that the Liberals and Progressives mean for you to do so in order to delegitimize any opinion that you might have that dissents against their agenda and closely held beliefs. Instead check your privileges and, if possible, enumerate them for yourselves because the privileges you’ve earned or your ancestors earned for you will go along way towards defining the character of your culture.

I would say that, even more than rights, privileges are the fundamental metric of what any people value and hold dear.

Surrendering To Terror

Posted in Politics on May 6th, 2015

Herein are examples of just why charging the six Baltimore police officers involved in the death of with Freddie Gray with felonies ranging from manslaughter to second-degree “depraved-heart” murder. Doing so is nothing but surrendering to terror and pandering to- and excusing the endemic violence and insurrection of the “Black Community.”

This week, the calls for justice were heard when six Baltimore police were charged for the death of Freddie Gray. For a city that erupted in protest, both peaceful and violent, this couldn’t have come any sooner. Though these are merely charges and not convictions, the fact that the Baltimore justice system is conceding with the people shows promise.

A Struggle of Collective Identity? Baltimore and the Civil Rights Movement

And, of course, one should not be bothered by this if one wants to remain on the right side of Political Correctness police. One should only feel empathy for the community that was savaged by its own indigenous population. One shouldn’t feel horrified or outraged by yet another Black race riot in yet another city.

Although the destruction of the Baltimore community is a horrible thing for which we should all feel empathy, we must also recognize that if this had not happened, even those not living under a rock may never have heard the story of Freddie Gray.

Race and Humility: A Response to “Obama Finds A Bolder Voice on Race Issues” by Peter Baker

Terrorism is defined as the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal and this is exactly what the Blacks are engaging in. They’re quite literally using terrorism as a mean of rebelling against their local government(s) and the lawful authorities placed over them.

This is not something that should be surrendered or pandered to by the authorities. Nor should it excused or explained by society. Doing so only emboldens the Blacks and reinforces the idea that rioting, looting, and the threat of violent insurrection is a working strategy for them.

Perhaps the Baltimore police are legally culpable in some manner for Freddie Gray’s death while in their custody but, once the Blacks resorted to textbook examples of terrorism, that should have overridden and precluded any charges being brought against those officers.

OK. I now return you to your normally scheduled morning. Please don’t think about any Elder Eldritch Horrors having erotic dreams about tattooed brunettes. :(;,;):
