Reflections From a Murky Pond

Yes, in the long run a wide-spread legalization of queer marriage will have or, at the least, pave the way for significant consequences – consequences that most people alive now would not favor. That’s the long term however. Let’s talk about the near-term consequences that legal queer marriage will cause.

George Takai, in his ever snarky way, does us all the great favor of detailing some of the immediate problems that generalized legality of queer marriage will cause America. 😉

BTW, I can’t wait till the hysterics and histrionics of the first messy queer divorce hits Court TV because that’s just going to be freaking funny. Oh my!

So look on the bright side. While there are going to be problems due to queer marriage, most of the near-term ones are the sort that we can manage to deal with.

I’m offended by Islam and so is Britain’s Pat Condell. This should tell you something important; when a theist such as myself and a rather aggressively atheist personality agree on the pernicious evil and offensiveness Islam and Muslims, it and they are very offensive indeed.
 

Admittedly, being British, Mr. Condell has even more reason to be offended by Islam and the dhimmitude and cowardly cult of appeasement he’s immersed in than I, as an American do. Condell lives in nation where a Christian preacher was arrested for saying that homosexuality was a sin but Muslims can say anything they want with utter impunity.

Mr. Condell mentioned it, but allow me to make the point much more clear. I’m deeply offended by the continuing existence of the cult of the Pedophile Prophet but I’m even more offended by those who are, themselves, either not offended by the Muslim vermin or who refuse to act upon their offendedness due to either fear of violence from the filthy, raghead animals or due to political correctness.

Of course, I’m not a cultist of the Religion of Perpetual Offensive, Outrage, and Feral Violence so my being offended doesn’t matter, nor does that of any other human because were too weak to do what is right and necessary.

No matter how wealthy or how powerful, each man and woman must die and face the God(s) judgement. It’s also long been held that those of great wealth and/or power most likely face damnation.

This could make for some odd and very interesting postmortem phenomena…

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply. The devil smiles and replies, “Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it’s a local call.

Well, if nothing else, Obama running America into the ground and turning it incrementally into Hell on Earth, might ease the suffering of the Damned somewhat and that would be mercy. 😉

Obama’s Inferno – Even Dante Would Shudder

Of course that mercy would be, like all of Obama’s supposedly merciful and kind acts, paid for by the suffering of others that were not meant to be damned for the choices.

At the end of Cath Maighe Tuireadh, also called the Cath Dédenach Maige Tuireadh, Morrighu made this dire prophecy known to all those who had defeated the Formor, lest they grow arrogant and complacent in their victory and in the belief that their victory would bring evil to its knees for all time.

Such is Her way – to always remind all that victory, joy, and peace are fleeting things.

Her words that She sang to the Tuatha Dé Danann, such as they have reached us in these latter days:

Many scholars think of this as being an eschatological prophecy but I’m not convinced of such. She makes no specific mention of the ending of the world or, even, alludes to it, just the ending of all that worth anything in the world and in the races of Man.

Does it not seem that Morrighu’s foretelling was accurate and that we are in, or fast approaching, the times that She prophesied? This world that I see around is more and more becoming less dear to me and much else that She sang of has come to pass or is coming to pass even now.

There is, and has been, this ongoing fantasy about the various and disparate religions and ideologies coexisting in peace and, presumably, mutual respect.

Can’t We Just Coexist in Peace?

Unfortunately, like all fantasies, at some point – for those, at least, who aren’t utterly insane and lost in delusion – the waking world and reality intrudes upon the fantasy.

Infidels! I Will Kill You!

That’s the problem. Islam, the religion of war, terrorism, and sundry abuses of the soul doesn’t want to coexist. It wants to conquer and supplant all other religions, philosophies, ideologies, and political system. It’s cultists do not, and cannot while still being Muslims, work or play well with others.
