Reflections From a Murky Pond

Here’s an uncomfortable and difficult question – If we’re so racist, wasn’t it an act of either rampant evil or gross stupidity to install Barack Obama as POTUS during a time when America and its government absolutely had to pull together?

Put aside your ingrained knee-jerk reaction and actually think about that question for a moment or two or, hopefully, a bit longer.

If America truly is such a racist country and that racism is wholly and solely a “White Problem,” what was anyone thinking by putting a Black man in the White House during a national crisis? If the Liberals, Progressives, and Blacks are right about the American people they had to know that no good would come from such an act, that Obama would accomplish nothing while in office, and that this would further imperil our nation.

If we accept their postulate – though we know the danger of such postulates – that any and all dissent against Obama is because Americans just can’t stand the thought of a Black man as POTUS, then the only question left is whether or not the Liberals, Progressives, and Blacks installed Obama with the full expectation of his being balked at every turn due to racism.

If they knew in their hearts that this would happen, then it was an overt act of evil on their part. It would have to be classed an attempt to destroy America. If, on the other hand, they thought that things wouldn’t go that way and that Obama would be allowed to do whatever he wanted while in office, they were just stupid.

Either way, evil or stupid, if the Liberals, Progressives, and Blacks are right about America being a racist nation, their voting for Obama in 2008 was not done with the best interests of America in mind. That’s something that they really can’t get around or make excuses for.

It’s seems that the thought police of Obama’s campaign and the Democrats were in full force at the 2012 DNC. As usual, they strove to completely control the message and didn’t let a little things like the 1st Amendment and the requirement for a free press get in their way.

According to sources, the Dems placed restrictions on Radio Row which forbade significant Democrats from being interviewed by any Conservative talk show hosts.

Conservative talk-show hosts who came to Charlotte to interview political figures are furious. For the first time in anyone’s memory, Radio Row the designated set of booths available to visiting talk-show hosts has seen restrictions placed on its use by Team Obama. DNC staffers at Radio Row will book leading Democrats for slots on conservative stations but then cancel the appearances an hour or so before broadcast because you’re not our audience.

Roger Hedgecock, a former mayor of San Diego now hosting a nationally syndicated talk show, decided to pack up and leave Charlotte early because we were blocked from getting any guests that mattered. It was a complete freeze. Larry O’Connor of Breitbart Radio told me, It was the most bizarre act of censorship. These shows paid large fees and spent thousands on equipment setup and they couldn’t do their programs because of interference.

The key point to understand here is not the Campaigner-in-Chief’s, his handlers’ and sycophants, or even the Democrats’ despite for the American press. That trend is established enough to no longer shock the senses, despicable and un-American as it is. What is the key point to understand is that Obama, his cronies, and the Democrat leadership do not consider Americans as their audience. They are not interested in meeting Americans’ needs, desires, views, or opinions. They are only concerned with pandering to those Americans’ domestic enemies.

“Conservative” media outlets crush Liberal ones in audience numbers, which makes perfect sense since Conservatives are the largest (40%) ideological demographic in America, outnumbering Moderates (35%) and Liberals (smallest group at a meager 21%), the latter by 99.5%.

I’m truly tempted to say that this is a false equivalency created by the Left and that there’s no Conservative media, only the American media and the Liberal one. I’m not quite there though.

So, essentially, the Democrats have openly said that the majority of Americans aren’t their audience and, as such, they were not to be allowed access to key Democrats during the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Remember that in November! Remember it as well when you’re making your next ammunition budget as the war for America’s and our children’s future may not be won by mere words and ballots.

In a previous post Alan Scott made a good observation about the 2012 Democratic National Convention and Obama’s and his cronies’ performance throughout it.

If you watch the convention you would think that the old magic is still there. The faithful are enthralled with the speakers praising our fearless leader. The hardcore zombies lap up the twin philosophies of victimhood and scapegoat politics. They are the victims and rich white men are the scapegoats.

Yep! Alan is right. That Old Black Magic still seems to be strong. Obama and Co. can still pack them in, if not quite in the same order of magnitude as before he’d actually had to do anything.

I Worship Obama

That’s the advantage of having a cult of personality as opposed to having to rely upon plans and results. The zombie cultists can always be counted upon to shuffle in and chant or groan in the appropriate manner. 😉

Godless anti-Semites is one of the most apt descriptions of the Liberals and Progressives, especially their representatives in the Democratic Party, and even more especially their delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

In one pernicious sweep they removed all reference to God from their party’s 2012 platform and removed any language showing stating that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

Both of these horrid things are radical and evil departures from the Dems’ 2008 platform which cite people’s God-given potential and acknowledged that Jerusalem was and always will be the capital of the Jews’ homeland.

And to truly show the world that the Democrat’s leadership hates God and the Jews, when Obama, realizing the 2012 platform would hurt him politically, tried to get the language reinstated, chaos ensued as the delegates rebelled against it.

Obama, who is mentioned by name over 200 times in the 32-page document, even personally intervened in the situation – kudos to him irrespective of his reasons – but couldn’t get the job done. The convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, had to do it through what amounted to executive fiat.

These creatures are devoid of even the least vestige of shame. Most people, if they have particularly vile beliefs that are frowned upon by the majority of society, make some effort to hide them from the public. The Democrats’ delegates flaunt them instead!

Yes, they’re godless anti-Semites and, if we’ve learned anything from history, we’ve learned that those sorts must never be allowed to hold any position of authority. Remember that in November!

New York Democrat delegate Julia Rodriguez told a reporter on camera that if she encountered GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, she “would like to kill him.” The secret service is “looking into it” and promises to take “appropriate follow-up measures.”

Just don’t expect those follow-up measures to amount to anything.

Johnny Logan Spencer Jr., who happens to be White, posted a “poem” back in 2007 describing the assassination of an unnamed – though it had to be Obama – leader and was charged with making threats against the President and threatening to kill or injure a major candidate for the office of the President, convicted, and was sentenced to nearly three years in federal prison.

Don’t expect anything even remotely similar to happen to Rodriguez. Different and much lower thresholds and expectations of acceptable behavior apply when it’s Brown on White and the concern is much less when it’s a Republican being threatened by a Democrat – even when one threat is merely a poem and the other is a direct threat of assassination.

Don’t expect the lamestream media to make much of this either as it would interfere with the message they been given for publication. A duly appointed delegate to the Democratic National Convention actually threatening the Republican Nominee’s life isn’t and can’t be allowed to be newsworthy enough to more than mention and move quickly and silently away from.

And, if you’re considering waiting for some denouncement of Rodriguez by the Democrats, Liberals, or Progressives, I’d strongly suggest thinking in terms of geologic time because it ain’t happening soon. On the other hand, here’s a simple picture that will set them off like an IED:

That’s a reasonably well done bit of photoshopping. The lighting / contrast in the reticle is off and the cross-hairs are skewed and not the right type for that model of scope but, overall, it’s a fairly decent job of image manipulation. The composition is certainly entertaining and for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being that the only sniper that could be in the position shown would be one of the Secret Service personnel assigned as overwatch for the event.
