The real freedom of any individual can always be measured by the amount of responsibility which he must assume for his own welfare and security.

The Dems’ Fears Came True, Just Not How They Wanted
It’s truly ironic, though not as surprising as one would hope, that just about everything the Dems feared would happen under President Trump has actually happened since Joe “Bad Hands” Biden was installed as POTUS through their fanatical efforts.
On the truly bright side though, in 2024 we could make their worst fears come true by reelecting President Trump to office. 😉
Bluntly put, the “My Body, My Choice” argument from the Left is one I’ve heard – or rather read – in the past. It’s an old argument. It is essentially the same argument used by the majority of anti-abolitionists in the decades leading up to the Civil War.
There’s not much difference in fact or law between claiming that you find the enslavement of Blacks to be abhorrent but feel that it’s not your or the government’s place to deny them that “right” and saying that you find killing and unborn child to be abhorrent but feel that it’s not your or the government’s place to deny a woman that “right.”
It’s Not A Person!
And the core of both the slavers and the abortionists are the same, that the victims aren’t persons. They’re not and lesser to humans and have no rights and only the privileges granted to them by their betters. In the case of abortion, the privilege to live at all.
So, no matter how you look at it, the Left’s primary argument in favor of abortion is the same argument with the same core foundation as the argument in favor of continuing to allow slavery in the 1st half of the 19th Century. And, given how the Left has violently responded to the probably overturning of Roe v. Wade, it may well lead to something akin to next Civil War.
This popped up in my FB feed and it’s just so, so sad that I had to share it here – since FB will likely delete it and jail the poster. But, it’s not sad because AOC really said this insofar as I know. It’s sad because, no matter how stupid this is, it’s no worse than what she’s squawks out on a regular basis. 🙄
That’s about the size of it, especially on Mondays. More mornings than not, I get out of bed, stumble through making coffee, and try to pretend to be human.
Note though, and not that I’m really complaining, but some things almost always come first. Coffee is almost always the second hot, Black thing I have in the mornings. 😉 But yeah, I keep telling her that bringing me coffee first would be better for both of us.
Somewhat different from and more specifically and logically put fort than the “we are what we eat” that we normally hear. But then, that’s what I’d expect from the logicians of the Church. 😆 👿
