Living Winter Instead Of Enduring It

Winter is a season and it has its own rules and strictures. There are some delightful reasons to learn to live Winter instead of just enduring it, don’t you think?

“Climate professor” Chris Turney assembled a tax-payer funded Global Warming propaganda junket to the Antarctic which ended up evidencing the massive expansion of Antarctic ice in the most ironic and visceral manner as their ship become stuck in the polar ice followed by the Chinese icebreaker sent to rescue them also becoming entrapped in the same ice.

I suppose fortunately, both the global warming expedition vessel and the Chinese rescue ship trapped in Antarctica have exploited cracks in the ice to break free and steam toward safety.

Don’t expect any in-depth analysis of this and its meaning from the Lamestream Media though. They’ve been studiously avoiding mentioning that Turney’s expedition was a Global Warming propaganda trip, which set out to prove climate change, ended up trapped in the very ice that they sought to prove had melted. This is because they know that it is no wiser to antagonize the Warmists than it is to antagonize the Islamists.

Our parents and grandparents lived in more optimistic times than we do today. They saw the future as bright with possibilities and filled with the benefits of our rapidly advancing technology.
 

 
The future is now. OK, actually it’s last week sometime because we’ve “come farther” than what is shown in this video. In any event, feel free to quietly weep because those bright-eyed visionaries of the early-to-mid 20th century were so very right in their predictions and so very wrong about how we would make them come true.

You Black women in America really need to reconsider your dating, relationship, marriage, and reproductive choices and you need to do so soon.

You may well think that there is nothing more physically beautiful on this earth than a dark skinned Black man, and there’s nothing wrong with in and of itself. Outside of that physical preference, however, there are a plethora of more financially, intellectually, and emotionally stable options – and they’re White.

The counter proposal or rebuttal to, “Once you’ve gone Black you’ll never go back,” is “Once you’ve gone White you’ll know you’ve got it right.”

Here are eight reasons in no particular order why White men just might be the better choice for you Black ladies:

1. They open wide instead of down low

   Gay White men tend to be more forthcoming about their status with family and friends. The down low phenomenon is less prevalent, which preserves the battery usage on your gaydar and relieves the stress of dissecting every male relationship.

2. Not looking for someone to take care of them

   Thanks to the absence of family, fathers and marriage in the Black community, a great number of our men have backward expectations when it comes to romantic relationships. A higher percentage of White men come from stronger family structures and more traditional gender roles, where the men seek to care for the women.

3. Attend and graduate from college

   Black women are graduating from college and Black men continue to drop out. As a result, degrees become intimidating when dating Black men. In White culture, education is valued and expected. Thus, White men have no problem dating educated women with advanced degrees. It is impressive rather than intimidating.

4. At least attempt to marry before making babies

   For whatever reason, White men just don’t have children sprinkled all over the world like Black men. And, if they do, most of them were married to the mother at some point. Sure, they divorce but you can only divorce if you at least attempt a marriage.

5. They don’t glamorize ignorance

   They may listen to rap music, but they are smart enough not to act it out. The ‘thug life’ is not something to be aspired. White men have a firmer grasp on what really defines manhood.

6. Financial planning and stability

   Black people, especially men, are always trying to shine, often spending more money than they have. White men tend to be more educated in the area of finance with a greater understanding of retirement planning, savings, investments, etc. This is mostly due to a higher level of exposure and teaching, but all that matters is they know and make better decisions than Black men when it comes to managing money.

7. Have the ability to look beyond your past

   Ever wonder why White people can date the friends of exes and so on? It’s because they don’t let the past hinder the present. Promiscuous Black men think they deserve to settle down with virgins, and allow past relationships to haunt the present. Not White men. They have no problem turning a hoe into a housewife.

8. Don’t take everything as a challenge to their masculinity

   Intimidation and insecurity are two reasons for the rift between Black men and women. As a result of their insecurities and low self-esteem, Black men are intimidated by the strength of an educated and ambitious Black woman. Rather than seeing her as a strong teammate, she is a threat to their manhood. Thus, they feel the need to overcompensate. White men, on the other hand, are more secure. What Black men see as threatening is what makes a great wife and business partner to them.

OK, cue the race baiters and their screeching cries of racism because I, a White man, dared to write those eight reasons why White men might be a better choice for Black women than men of their own race. Oops! I didn’t write them. LaShaun Williams, who happens to be a Black woman, wrote them in 2010 for Madame Noire. I do, however, largely agree with most of Mrs. Williams’ assertions and don’t disagree with any of them.

It should, however, be noted that I have a personal bias in this matter. One of my wives is a strong, educated, Black woman – one who isn’t High Yellow and who doesn’t have “Good Hair.”

But seriously! You Black women really need to consider branching out and away from Black men. This holds doubly true for you educated Black women; the majority of Black males have little to offer you in the long run and those relative few who do are be sought by other Black women and Latina and White women as well.

So give Vanilla a chance and you just may agree that “Once you’ve gone White you’ll know you’ve got it right.”

I’ve got question for the “Black Community.” Is Obama a mulatto yet or is he still Black insofar as your people are concerned?

Really! This seems a fair and honest query to me. We all know that “Blackness” has everything to do with culture, presentation, and ideology and little at to do with genetics.

So is Obama still Black enough to be Black?

Years ago Wanda Sykes, at the 2009 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, made a joke that wasn’t just a joke judging from the normative behaviors and attitudes of the “Black Community.”

This is amazing, the First Black President – I know you’re biracial – but the First Black President! You’re proud to be able to say that – The First Black President. That’s unless you screw up. Then it’s going to be, “What’s up with the half-white guy, huh? Who voted for the mulatto, what the hell?”

So, has Obama screwed up enough to be mulatto? Has this half-breed finally lost his “Black Card?”

OK; I can easily understand why you all got right past Obama’s being a “a ‘light-skinned’ African American with no Negro dialect” even though you rarely extend the same courtesy or tolerance for other light-skins. Yet what has he done to maintain his “cred?”

C’mon! What’s Obama done for you and your people? More importantly, what has he done to you?

• Black education is continuing to degrade, especially for Black males;
• Black unemployment continues to skyrocket and greatly outpaces White employment;
• Black entrepreneurship is in decline;
• Black incarcerations rates remain “criminally” high and;
• Blacks are still much more likely not to have access to health insurance that they can afford.

Contrariwise, a whole lot of Wealthy, White Liberals and Progressives – voters he’s had to work, at least a little bit, to get and maintain – have been getting their needs and desires met, most often to your people’s detriment it seems.

Are you really going to blindly follow the lead of your politicians?

So what’s it going to be? Are you ready to apply the same standards to Obama that you apply to yourselves, or is he still Black enough for you? Now that he’s a lame duck, you can ask yourself that question just as I have without risking much of anything.
