Reflections From a Murky Pond

So the Art & Entertainment Network (A&E) has indefinitely suspended one of the stars of “Duck Dynasty,” Phil Robertson because in an interview with GQ he said some things which offended queers, Blacks, and their enablers and supporters. What this means for their most popular and profitable series remains to be seen.

But, while seemingly very stupid, suspending Robertson for this reason, any reason, or no reason at all is completely within their rights.

If we’re going suspend, terminate, and otherwise vilify, pillory, and attempt to terrorize into submission people who say things that offend various groups within America’s borders, I just wish we’d do so fairly and apply the same treatment to the various queers, Blacks, and other less than mainstream personalities that spout things that offend the majority of the average American citizenry.

That won’t happen though because political correctness is wholly and solely based upon pandering to- and applying a far lower standard of expectations to non-normative, minority cultural adherents.

Obama’s followers and fellow travelers describe him as brilliant, complex, and nuanced. Dissent from his words, when it’s not merely decried as racist, is blamed upon Americans not being up to understanding Obama.
 

 
Funny, Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) aptly and succinctly summed up Obama and the results of his attempted reign in just over a minute. He also plainly spoke of the single biggest problem with removing Obama from the office he has claimed. 😉

As most know, politics makes for strange bedfellows, especially with the intersection of business interests and political careers. It’s often odd, commonly disgusting, but sometimes it’s downright self-destructive.

A Case in point would be Obama’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu’s chronic and apparently uncontrollable addiction to “Green” energy systems…

Oh, Christ, What The Hell Did I Do Last Night?

I swear he’s worse in some ways than Anthony Weiner. At least, to our knowledge, Weiner wasn’t paying for it and certainly wasn’t paying for it with our money.

WASHINGTON—Sources have reported that following a long night of carousing at a series of D.C. watering holes, Energy Secretary Steven Chu awoke Thursday morning to find himself sleeping next to a giant solar panel he had met the previous evening. “Oh, Christ, what the hell did I do last night?” Chu is said to have muttered to himself while clutching his aching head and grimacing at the partially blanketed 18-square-foot photovoltaic solar module whose manufacturer he was reportedly unable to recall.

We’re talking some serious coyote ugly here. The truly sad part is that we’re also talking about an odd and sad twist to the phrase, “Double Coyote Ugly,” since it’s anyone’s guess which one them would be more likely to want to gnaw their own limb off in order to escape that bed without waking the other. 😉

Somethings must not be allowed to go unpunished. One of these horrid things is when a teacher or school administrator abuses and American child and tries to strip them of the constitutional rights in an effort to further indoctrinate them.

On Thursday, December 12, 2013  Zachary Golob-Drake, a 5th-grader at the Patel Partnership School in Tampa, FL won first place in his class’ public speaking competition, thereby earning the privilege to represent his school at the the regional 4-H Tropicana Public Speech contest.

That was when the trouble began.

Young Zachary’s speech was entitled, “In the Name of Religion” and mentioned the historical use of religion as an excuse for violence and the Muslim Terrorism of the modern age.

The Patel Partnership School’s assistant principal, Candice Dodd pulled Zachary aside before school was dismissed that day, told him his speech was inappropriate and stripped him of his ribbon and position representing the school in the regional competition.

“She started talking to me about how she thought my speech wasn’t appropriate for 4th and 5th graders and she thought that probably I would have to rewrite my speech, take the religion out or not compete.”

He said he told her he needed to think about it at home.

“She said to me probably the fairest thing to do is to take your ribbon,” he said, noting that he then got emotional.

By the time his older brother picked him from school, he was crying.

None of the boy’s hard work, feelings, or Constitutional rights mattered at all to this worthless piece filth, Candice Dodd. It was somehow offended by the winning speech and decided to demand that he either completely rewrite it or sacrifice the trappings and privileges of his victory.

No! Such petty tyrants and domestic enemies of America cannot be allowed to go unpunished. Nor can they be allowed to hide behind the rights when their crime is violating of others’ rights, especially when it’s the rights of an American child of tender and impressionable years.

As this thing has violated others, let it be well and truly violated in its turn.

As I can find no image for this this worthless piece of filth, go softly and cautiously if you choose to confront it at home in some manner. While no other Candice Dodd could be located near Tampa, FL, this is not 100% proof that the contact info is correct.

At a bare minimum and only as a start, this vermin should be fired. Americans need to make an example out of it by making it clear that we, the People will no longer tolerate its kind amongst us.

As with all of the “Interlude” posts, there’s purpose or intent behind this one other to leaven Reflections From A Murky Pond with a bit of beauty.

This particular interlude isn’t specifically a Bikini Interlude. It’s just 30 beautiful, barely-clad Asian babes for our collective enjoyment, although, the truth be told, I’m not sure that deserves the diminutive of “just.”
