A New Boston Tea Party?

Posted in Politics on March 12th, 2013

It appears that the deep, deep, deep blue state of Massachusetts is still, even after 240 years of increasing Liberalism, a hotbed of rebellion against foreign overlords.

Obama Boston Tea Party
A New Boston Tea Party?

Despite being the state that beta-tested Obamacare, they’ve decided that they need to throw it or, at least, parts of it into Boston Harbor.

In particular, they have no use for the stupid, destructive, and unthinkingly restrictive and punishing rules that Obamacare will inflict upon the engine that drives Massachusetts’ economy, small businesses.

The editorial, entitled, “Mass. Needs An Obamacare Waiver for Small-Business Health Plans,” argues that while the state has “made a concerted effort in the last few years to rein in health care costs for small businesses,” the fact is that “new federal regulations written to implement the Affordable Care Act threaten to undercut those efforts — and saddle thousands of Bay State businesses with big increases in premiums.”

Last December, Massachusetts officials wrote to federal regulators, suggesting the possibility of a waiver from the new rating factors for small businesses that are required under Obamacare. The letter indicated that the regulations would result in a substantial number of citizens experiencing, “extreme premium increases.”

While the commonwealth previously allowed insurers to rate on factors such as age (2-to-1 rate band), industry type, participation rates, and group size, the new Obamacare regulations only permit health plans to adjust premiums based on individual vs. family enrollment, geographic area, tobacco use, and age (3-to-1 rate band). Hence, the new federal rules are much more restrictive.

This, coming from the state that already implemented “universal” socialized health insurance – and which continues to pay a drastic and painful economic price for doing so – must be sticking in the craws of the Obama Regime like a chicken bone.

To make matters worse for the Campaigner-in-Chief, there’s little hope that he can shuck, jive, and twist things around enough to placate the Bay Staters by blaming it on “King” George.

NOTE: The MA politician that you won’t see rebelling in Boston Tea Party fashion against Obamacare is, ironically, the one that consistently and fraudulently claims she has the most right to dress as an Indian, Elizabeth Warren. She’s not the sort to leave the reservation. 😉

Justifiable Homocide

Posted in Politics on March 11th, 2013

One of the core principles of America’s Second Amendment is that arms are needed by we, the People for self-defense. Not, as some would claim, self-defense against the average, run of the mill thug but, rather, self-defense against our own government should it turn tyrannical.

Justification
Both Owning And Using Are Thoroughly Justified

That our government now chooses to try to disarm the American citizenry, focusing most stringently upon any and all weaponry that they think would best serve us versus them and their enforcers, is clear evidence that we’re justified in not only owning and keeping our arms, but in the considered use against them, their enforcers, and any kin that they might have.

Keep your eyes open. Travel light but load heavy, and always put another round in the enemy after they’re down. We are at war and need to comport ourselves as such.

Reciprocal Rights

Obama NooseObama’s favorite boy, Eric Holder stated bluntly that he, as the US Attorney General, maintains that Obama has the right to murder any American he sees fit to murder, even on American soil, whenever he sees fit to do so and to use armed drones to commit that murder if he chooses use them to do so.

As long as these thugs-in-suits understand that Equal Protection means that these are reciprocal rights and that they and their families are subject to them as well, I find that I’m not too adverse to accepting that Obama has the right to kill at will and without oversight.

Of course, Holder claims that Obama would only exercise this right in the most dire extreminity…so we’re all safe and there’s no reason for us to defend ourselves. 😉

America’s government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth – but tyrants, those of the blood of tyrants, and those who support them may very well do so.

McConnell Speaks Sooth

Posted in Politics on March 7th, 2013

In a speech that went largely unheard due to the lamestream media’s refusal to defy the Obama Regime, US Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell spoke sooth and laid out the harsh truth of America’s largest political problem.

Back in November, the American people sent a divided government to Washington.

I know this is not the outcome President Obama had hoped for.

I know he wanted complete control of Washington, just like he had the first two years of his presidency.

Still, it was surprising to me and I think to a lot of other people around here to learn over the weekend that among the first calls the President made after his acceptance speech on Election Day had to do with ginning up another campaign.

The President wasn’t focused on solving the problems that middle-class families face today, but how to get a Democratic Speaker of the House two years down the road. That was the message he sent to top House Democrats.

Since then, the President, along with his Washington Democrat allies, has expended enormous amounts of energy to advance that goal – rebooting his political organization, provoking manufactured crises with Congress, engineering show votes in the Senate, and traveling around the country to campaign relentlessly against his opponents.

That’s why the Sequester went into effect in its current form.

That’s why Washington continues to careen needlessly from crisis to crisis.

Those are the harsh truths of the matter and it’s almost heartening to hear someone like McConnell bring them into the light in so straightforward a manner. Only almost though, speaking the truth does little if few or none listen and/or few or none are willing to act upon those truths in the manner that they need to be acted upon.

Jay Carney - filthy sack of shit and valid targetThe arrogance, pettiness, hypocrisy, mendacity, and gross stupidity of those sycophants and toadies that Barack Obama surrounds himself with is a source of constant amazement to thinking people across the globe and also a constant cause of outrage for the American people.

A perfect example of this, if of little else that would be normally considered of worth, is the boy’s second and current Press Secretary, Jay Carney.

Carney was questioned about Tuesday’s record high closing of the Dow as it directly contradicted Obama’s assertion that across-the-board spending cuts that are part of the Sequester would imperil the economy.

Carney replied, “I don’t comment on markets.”

Carney doesn’t comment on markets? More accurately and truthfully, Obama’s mouthpiece doesn’t comment on markets except to lambast, insult, and blame Republicans for the woes created by Obama, the Democrats, and those professional Republican politicians who are more concerned about keeping their jobs than doing them.

I would remind you of the damage caused to our economy by the approach that House Republicans took on this matter just in the summer of 2011. As a result of their flirtation with default, the stock market plummeted. The Dow fell 7 percent, or almost 900 points, in late July and early August of 2011. The United States was downgraded and the Dow fell another 10 percent, or 1100 points after the S&P downgraded the United States.

White House Press Briefing, January 7, 2013

Somehow I doubt that Carney, a professional spin doctor, forgot his statements of a mere 57 days before. His arrogance, mendacity, and gross stupidity are shown by his belief that we, the People had forgotten it and that we would remain silent upon the subject as his master’s livestock, the lamestream media would.

Yes, the arrogance, pettiness, hypocrisy, mendacity, and gross stupidity of those sycophants and toadies that Barack Obama chooses to surrounds himself with is amazing. Don’t judge him by that though, or you’ll be labeled a racist.
