The Bouncing Bulldog
Posted in Humor on February 3rd, 2013There’s not much to it. It’s just an English bulldog having a lot of fun on a trampoline.
And really! What more do any of us really need? 😆

Presentation matters, often more than the substance or performance. This is especially true in politics and in sociopolitical issues. This, in current times, is never more obvious than in respect to the gun-grabbing Liberals’ criteria for what firearms they would initial forbid American citizens from owning as the bulk of those criteria are purely cosmetic and have nothing to do with the functional capabilities of the weapons in question.
To make this point so clear that even Liberals and Progressive can understand it – though they’ll reject it and publicly deny the understanding – let us apply the same sort of cosmetic criteria to something other than various classes and pseudo-classes of firearms.

Presentation Matters – Negro vs. Assault Negro
It’s obvious to all that Americans do not need Assault Negroes in their midst due to the inherent threat that they pose, a threat proven by decades and decades of statistics. Indeed, as the Constitution is not written in stone and our Founding Father’s certainly never intended or considered that America would be filled with Assault Negroes, it is completely right and proper to place reasonable restrictions upon the exercise of the 13th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution and ban Assault Negroes.
For reasons that are utterly beyond my ken many people in America keep tuning into Obama and waiting for him to do something, anything, that will at least ease the economic nightmare that most Americans have been experiencing, are experiencing, and look to continue experiencing for the foreseeable future.

Please Standby – We’re Experiencing Mental Instability
Sadly for those who tune into Obama, filled with some measure of hope for a positive change in their circumstances, all they’re likely to get is a holding pattern displaying that the system is having a problem. 😉

We Are Fast Approaching The Stage Of The Ultimate Inversion
The fearsome but wise words come from Ayn Rand’s essay, “The Nature Of Government” which is enclosed within The Virtue of Selfishness and, while they were written decades ago, they hold a bitter truth even today. Indeed, it may well be that Rand’s words are more true today than they were some 50 years ago when she penned them.
America does seem to be fast approaching the stage where the government can do or refuse to do whatever it wishes while we, the People must beg its permission for any action or even inaction that we would contemplate undertaking.
Remember, while it is true that men can only govern by the consent of the governed, to rule only requires brute force and a willingness to use. As America’s government seems to no longer care about our consent, how long will it be before they take power and rule through open force?
It is not amazing that politicians come up with exactly the wrong answers to any singular problem or issue. What is amazing is that they seem to always come up with exactly the wrong answers to each and every problem or issue.

Blood Alcohol Limit To Be Raised To Curb Drunk Driving
The editorial cartoon depicted above sums this up perfectly. Raising the federal government’s debt ceiling is no closer to being the correct answer to their spending issues than raising the legal limit for blood alcohol is for reducing incidents of drunk driving.
Be assured though that the debt ceiling will be raised once again – and again, and again, and again until our creditors finally cut us off – because both the waning “mainstream” Republicans and all the Democrats will do anything in their power to make sure Wimpy doesn’t starve.
The late and lamented Ronald Reagan said we had to starve the beast. The problem is that these beasts are like cockroaches and won’t starve until Americans cut their heads off. Even then it might take a while.
