Reflections From a Murky Pond

On Wednesday, January 11, 2012 Felipe Calderón’s failed government released the updated death tolls from Mexico’s ongoing drug war. The Mexican “government” reported that 47,515 people have been killed in drug-related violence between late 2006 and September 2011, with 12,903 killings having occurred in the first 9 nine months of 2011 – an 11% increase over the same 9 month period in 2010.

Those 12,903 killings equate to approximately one drug killing every 30 minutes of every day for the first 9 months of last year.

Most of Mexico’s drug war killings haven place in just eight of Mexico’s 31 states, five of those ones that share a border with the United States. Yet, as long as those deaths are Mexicans and the happen south of the border, Americans won’t care and America will fear to do anything about the chaos and hell raging across the failed state to our south.

Nothing to see here. Move along! We wouldn’t want to upset anyone or force them from their comfort zone.

What is wrong with women? Women, not prepubescent boys with apricots stitched into the sunken chests. What, beyond misogyny and latent – we hope and pray – pedophilia, is behind the fashion industries hatred of women with curves and actual flesh upon their bones?

Thankfully, more people than me are beginning to ask this question. In the January 2012 issue of PLUS Model Magazine, plus-size model Katya Zharkova very honesty points out the issues.

Worse, The One Isn’t As Emaciated As Many

One cannot point out too strongly that the fashion and modeling industries have racked up a number of victims similar in form and number to the Nazis’ Holocaust. In case you dispute the number, I’ll point out that, in America alone, conservative estimates show that approximately 4,800,000 (4.8 million) women have suffered from or continue to suffer from anorexia or bulimia.

Katya Zharkova states several hard truths but I want to focus on one interrelated pair in particular:

• Twenty years ago the average fashion model weighed 8% less than the average woman. Today, she weighs 23% less.
• Ten years ago plus-size models averaged between size 12 and 18. Today the need for size diversity within the plus-size modeling industry continues to be questioned. The majority of plus-size models on agency boards are between a size 6 and 14, while the customers continue to express their dissatisfaction.

For the purposes of this particular point, let’s ignore that “plus size” starts at size 14, which is the average dress size of women in the West. Let’s instead think for a moment how pernicious and ridiculous it is to have the majory of plus size models being within a size range that tops out at size 14, the low end of the fashionistas call “plus size!”

That’s well beyond merely being stupid. It willingly enters the range of depraved indifference. As such, it should be considered “actionable” and, if the law will not- or cannot be allowed to act against the filth controlling the fashion industry, people need to step and take care of these filth themselves.

I firmly believe that making messy public examples out of some of the designers and buyers will get the point across to the industry.

This is not to say that some people haven’t recognized the problem but some have, though not nearly enough of them.

Muslim are angry. All across the Middle East, the Far East, Asia Minor, and Africa Muslims are angry.  They’ve seemingly been angry at the world and each other for approximately 1380 years.

The adherents of the “Religion of Peace” have consistently vented that anger in centuries of violence whose feral savagery shocks the sensibilities of the Civilized World.

Indeed, the only places where you find happy Muslims is in the West, in the nations of Europe and in America – nations where Muslims don’t rule and Islam has no control over the laws and behaviors of those nations.

Yet, despite this, Muslims blame the Civilized World for their problems and their anger instead themselves, their leaders, and Islam. They blame us to point that they’ve started a jihad against us.

Sadly, you can’t reason with creatures like that; they’re just too far divorced from sanity, normative human thought, and basic reason. You can only contain them or exterminate them for the public health.

Let us for the nonce consider matters as they currently stand in America as if the fantasies of the Liberals and their minority tenants were true. Let us pretend that they’re right and that American society and culture is endemically and inherently racist – vilely and perniciously so.

If Americans are so racist, wasn’t it the nadir of irresponsibility to install a Black man as POTUS during the current crisis-ridden times facing America and the world?

Think about that objectively for a moment. If Americans are so racist and hold such fear, loathing, and hatred for minorities that they were going to attack Obama no matter what he did or said just because he’s Black, how irresponsible or, alternatively, how much hatred for America the Liberals and their minority tenants must one have to willfully saddle America with him as POTUS in these times?

It’s been obvious to Americans for some time that the putrid dregs of what is left of journalism in our country no longer deserving of either the name or the constitutional protections what it devolved from were guaranteed.

Sadly for America but happily for the lamestream media, actual rights aren’t dependent upon merit so we can’t just eradicate the bulk of the MSM. Instead they need to be taught how to do their jobs. A mandatory course in remedial journalism is most definitely in order.

I suppose it would end up having to be the SCOTUS’ decision as to what Americans could do with and to those who in the media who failed remedial journalism – and believe me, I would fully expect a massive failure rate among the first class. 😉
