Reflections From a Murky Pond

One thing for all to remember about Obama is that judging by his words, deeds, and choice of those he surrounds himself with, is that he’s not American, not in his heart and soul. Or, at the very least, that is how he and his coterie have crafted his public image.

It may seem to be an odd course of action for someone who previously claimed to not accept partisan divisions and to hope for a unified America, but only if one was foolish and naive enough to believe anything that Obama says about his beliefs and goals.

One would also have to set aside the basic rules of realpolitik to find Obama’s “otherness,” real or portrayed with great skill, to be surprising. Divisiveness is far more effective as a political tactic than is “unifying” and Obama has always diligently and dutifully followed the rules of realpolitik.

One has to remember that this “otherness” of Obama is exactly what America’s domestic enemies, the oikophobic Liberals, love about him. It also lets them paint the American people as racist and xenophobic, which feeds their own preconceptions of America as a place of evil that must be brought low.

It’s fairly obvious that the upcoming 2012 elections are going to be a base vs. base war with, as happened in 2008, the “moderates” and “independents” split roughly down the middle. This means that Obama’s “otherness” is a useful political coin, but one that works to galvanize friend and enemy alike.

The question remains though of how long with the house that Obama’s Otherness divided continue to stand…

Unsurprisingly, Obama has continued to mouth rhetoric from the same tired, old, failed Middle East policy regarding Israel and the Palestinian vermin which previous American administrations have repeatedly tried with no positive results.

Land For Peace? Enabling Muslim Terrorism

This will continue to be a waste of breath because none of the Islamists in control of the Palestinian regions of Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, nor their supporters such as Iran’s Hezbollah seek peace while single Jew lives in Israel, and because the Jews of Israel know this and will not submit themselves to genocide.

The truth of “Land For Peace,” or any variation thereof the requires Israel to surrender strategically critical lands, is that it’s a recipe for the utter destruction of Israel and the annihilation of her people at the filthy hands of the Muslims.

On an ongoing, issue-by-issue basis President Obama seems to fail to heed the will of the American people. Worse and more maddening than that, every time he speaks he claims that we, the People support his agenda.

It’s easy, in the face of Obama’s behavior, to think of him as a would-be tyrant who refuses to listen to the people. What if it’s something else though?

Obama, close to utterly inexperienced in governing, is surrounded and sheltered by his advisers. Who really knows how they’re translating Americans’ outrage when they advise their charge?

Not that this is unusual. It has, in point of sad fact, been a problem for ages – in both the politics of business and the business of politics.

The Plan

In the beginning, there was the Plan. And then came the Assumptions. And the Assumptions were without form, And the Plan was without substance. And darkness was upon the face of the Workers. And they spoke among themselves, saying, “It is a crock of shit and it stinketh.”

And the Workers went into their Supervisors and said, “It is a pail of dung and none may abide the odor thereof.” And the Supervisors went unto their Managers, saying, “It is a container of excrement and it is very strong, such that none may abide by it.”

And the Managers went unto their Directors, saying, “It is a vessel of fertilizer and none may abide it’s strength.” And the Directors spoke amongst themselves, saying one to another, “It contains that which aids plant growth and it is very strong.”

And the Directors went unto the Vice President, saying, “It promotes growth and it is very powerful.” And the Vice Presidents went unto the President, saying, “This new Plan will actively promote the growth and vigor of the company with powerful effects.”

And the President looked upon the Plan and saw that it was good. And the Plan became Policy. This is how Shit Happens.

It seems to be ever the way; truth is lost in translation as it passes up the chain of command. Why should this be different when dealing with Obama? It is, after all, in his advisers’ best interests to keep in safely tucked in his dreaming. 😉

While there is in many Americans’ hearts and minds some doubt remaining as to Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen” and, hence, his eligibility to be POTUS, there can now be no doubts whatsoever as to why Obama chose to respond to Donald Trump’s demands for him to produce his “long form” birth certificate.

Yes, for a mere $25 functionally anonymous donation Obama’s supporters across the globe can purchase this shirt from Obama’s campaign website. For $15, they can get a coffee mug. Both shirt and mug feature the image of Obama’s birth certificate.

Americans have to remember that, to Obama, everything is about the election campaign; that’s his sole comfort zone. Almost anything he or his coterie due is founded upon that simple truism.

Obama and his campaigners know that Obama’s base has weakened since he took office. They also know that it’s far easier to get their supporters fired up to fight against the American people than to get the majority of them to fight for Obama – and they don’t have President Bush to blame and malign anymore.

On the brighter side, such a t-shirt would be considered a “fixed distinctive marking, visible from a distance” and, hence, a small step towards honesty.

No doubts remain. Obama’s long belated release of his birth certificate was solely about Alinsky-esque election politics, specifically the politics of pandering, provocation, and division.

Keep your eyes open. Travel light but load heavy, and always put another round in the enemy after they’re down. 😉

It’s generally considered important for parents to start educating their children in the ways of the world and accepted social mores as soon as possible. Teaching these life lesson well and early gives them the best head start in growing up to be a successful part of their society.

Of course, while children are adaptable and normally learn easily, the overall outcome is more dependent upon the curriculum than anything else… 😉
