    It’s similar to how prayer works according to Jung. You have the answer on some subconciuos level so you just need some trick to access it.

    I’m not sure if it’s just the Jungian idea of accessing the subconscious, zhann. I think there’s also a refusal on most of our parts to acknowledge our desires unless the responsibility for succeeding or failing to achieve them is in the hands of some other agency.
