Cryptoclimatology
Climate changes; we can all accept that fact. It runs in an unknown number of nested cycles varying in length from a few years to many millennia and is impacted by an equally unknown number of inputs of unknown strength and synergy.
Cryptoclimatology – The “Search” For AGW
Some who claim the title of scientist want to simplify that system though for their own agendas and, as Climategate 1.0 and Climategate 2.0 showed the world, what they’ve done bears more resemblance to cryptozoology than hard science.
What they’ve done is to create Cryptoclimatology, the search for a way to coerce people into believing anthropogenic climatic changes that the existence thereof has not been proven are both real and dire.

It’s a ridiculous and pointless debate. Of course the earth has its own cyclical climate change that continues regardless of man’s presence. And of course mankind’s presence on earth affects the climate to some extent; the only disagreement is how much. We’re quite capable of screwing up the environment so badly that we as a species die out. Earth and its constantly changing climate will be here long after we’re gone.
