Nope! That’s Racist

Only White Privilege could allow someone not to know this cartoon is racist. It's White!
Nope! That’s Racist And An Example Of White Privilege

The cartoon above is a new addition to the annals of failure. Only someone blessed with White Privilege would ever consider it to be other than inherently racist…because it’s White.

Whose Mess Is It?

Posted in 2016 Election, Humor, Politics on December 17th, 2014

There’s little point in denying that American politics is a mess and is, more often than not, about various messes. Indeed, a large part of the rhetoric flowing from the maws of politicians, especially those of Liberal bent, can be boiled down to attempting to pin down the blame for whatever mess is the currently popularized one.

Whose Mess Is It?

Of course, if Hillary Clinton manages to secure her installment into the White House as POTUS, she would, as Mr. Dixon so poetically predicts, continue blaming President Bush Jr. for the mess rather than Obama. Such blamecasting would be even prolific if Obama’s seeming preference, the Waba Squaw, Elizabeth Warren gained the Presidency.

Mr. Dixon is also completely right in his prediction that any mess in existence will be the current POTUS’ mess the moment – hopefully for America as a result of 2016 elections – a Republican president takes office. Both the GOP’s disdain for blaming past leaders and the lamestream media’s antipathy for the GOP will ensure that.

Why Firefox?

My default or “go to” web browser is Firefox and has been so for quite a number of years…pretty much since Netscape went away.

Why Do I Use Firefox?

I could discuss the technical issue w/ Chrome or Internet Explorer, or I could frame it in sociopolitical activist terms…but, really! What better reason is there than the trope shown above?

Very Special Relativity

Posted in Humor on December 13th, 2014

Albert Einstein TongueAlbert Einstein Tongue was without a reasonable doubt one of the greatest minds of the modern age. Einstein was both a scientist and a philosopher of science, a combination rarely seen today.

He is best known for his Theory of General Relativity and his Theory of Special Relativity. He should, however, also be known for his little-publicized Theory of Very Special Relativity.

Very Special Relativity (VSR, also known as the very special theory of relativity or VSTR) is the accepted sociological theory regarding the relationship between family and holiday time.

F=dc2

The formula for Einstein’s Theory of Very Special Relativity is Family(F) equals dysfunction(d) multiplied by the square of crazy(c). Thus, Einstein has mathematically proven the Family-Crazy equivalence during the holidays.

Climate Trends

Climate is different from weather and one has to look at longer term trends when one studies climate and any changes to it.

So it’s true; over the past 44 years there’s been a significant change in the climate…the climate of crisis.

But would it surprise anyone that the whole Global Cooling hysteria of the 1970s conspicuously coincided with rants about sulfur dioxide (SO2) when threats of acid rain weren’t generating “enough” changes to- and reductions of First World industries?

And would it shock you to learn that what warming there has been in the Earth’s climate also conspicuously coincides with the reductions in sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions that were demanded by various governments in reaction to Global Cooling fear-mongering?

Well, at least the last 44 years of climate trends shows a measurable and repeating pattern. 😉
