Reflections From a Murky Pond

Folks, were screwed. The Promised Land, that shining city on the hill, has been broken, sold off, and sold out.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, “Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land.”

Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was introduced) Roosevelt said, “Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land.”

Today, Congress has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I was so depressed last night thinking about Obama Care, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc …. I called a Suicide Hotline.

I had to press 1 for English.

I was connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal.

They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck……

Folks, we’re screwed.

Yeah, it’s not really something to make jokes of but you either have to laugh, cry, or end up doing something that’ll get you on the news…

During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the US House of Representatives and 33 out of 100 seats in the US Senate will be contested. Additionally, 38 state and territorial governorships, 46 state legislatures, four territorial legislatures, and numerous state and local offices will be in play.

Across the board, with the exception of Black districts, the Democrats are running scared. Not only do the Democrats tend to fair poorly in midterm elections, but also their house of cards has already collapsed and they’ve had to rebuild it and their platform with the single card remaining to them

They’ve Only One Card In Their Deck – The Race Card

That’s it! That’s all the Dems have left, the Race Card. But be assured that they know how to play it well. They’ve been doing so for half a century.

What we, the People – most of whom happen to be White – need to do during these elections is show them that spades are no longer trump. 😉 So get out, when it’s time, and vote and vote against the race-baiters, panderers, and other grifters of the Democrat party.

With the US Census Bureau’s intent to change the questions it asks millions of Americans about health insurance, which will lower the estimated number of uninsured Americans, it’s pretty clear that the Obama Regime is looking to alter and adjust the metrics and success criteria of ObamaCare. Simply put, they’re changing the yardstick.

By Any Measure…Except The Objective

But then, this is par for the course for the Obama Regime and its devotees. Insofar as they’re concerned, anything and everything that is linked somehow to Obama can be measured in any way, shape, or form except for an object measurement. To do the latter would be “racist.”

On simply cannot violate the boy’s Black Privilege by not allowing him to lower the bar for his performance in order not to fail.

Their is a growing trend of Atheist groups intent on evangelizing their non-belief to the majority of Americans in an effort to wipe any mention of the God(s) from our nation.

The latest example of these Godless filth’s attack up religion, came last week when the vermin of the The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) attacked Clemson University because the head coach of their football team does hide or silence his Christian faith.

That’s right; these subhumans of The Freedom From Religion Foundation have lodged a letter of complaint to Clemson, charging that coach Dabo Swinney and his staff with “unconstitutional behavior” at the public university.

One of Swinney’s offenses is the use of his favorite motivational saying: “Run your race to win, don’t just run the race.” Nevermind that it could have come from a Dale Carnegie book or a Steven Covey seminar: the phrase is from 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, so clearly Swinney is engaged in the establishment of a state religion here. Can’t you see it?

The paper terrorists of the FFFRF are demanding that the school to direct Coach Swinney to immediately stop team prayers, sermons, Bible studies and “church days” for players, indoctrinate staff in the FFRF’s corruption of their First Amendment obligations, and monitor their compliance.

On the bright side, Clemson’s administration seems to be doing the right, Godly, and American thing by largely ignoring the demands of these Godless freaks who, quite frankly, have no standing to complain about anything that their betters do.
