Deporting Piers Morgan

Posted in Politics on December 26th, 2012

Piers MorganA large number of Americans want CNN’s Piers Morgan, who happens to be a British national living and working within America, deported due to his attacks upon the Second Amendment and the rights of American citizens. As of the writing of this post over 70,000 people have electronically signed the White House petition to have Morgan deported from our country, almost three times the threshold which requires a response.

This is commendable, but only for the symbolism of it all as nothing will ever come of this petition and any response that the Obama Regime deigns to give – assuming that they even bother to abide by their own rules in this matter – will be meaningless at best and will more likely be derogatory in nature.

Obamas and Morgan
The Obamas And Piers Morgan – Birds Of A Feather

There’s effectively no chance that Obama will have Morgan deported for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens. The Obamas and Morgan have a close, personal relationship and Morgan is one of Obama’s more dependable cheerleaders among a MSM that is known for their slavish loyalty to the First Black President. Besides, when has Obama ever sided with the American people against a foreign power or national?

So all the Americans out there bitterly clinging to their guns had best both cling to them a little tighter and think long and hard about why you’re really doing so and make ready to do a lot more than just sign a few symbolic but effectively useless petitions. Either that, or resign yourself to eventually having those guns and the other rights they defend stripped from you, your children, and your children’s children.

Bearing The Burden

Posted in Politics, Society on December 23rd, 2012

As all Americans know, it’s the wealth producers, the productive members of society, who are forced into bearing the burden of supporting and subsidizing the eaters and takers existing within our nation’s borders. What most do not, however, realize is just how critically bad the situation is now and are likely to remain.

As of 2011, 11 states have more residents on Welfare than they have citizens who are employed: Alabama, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, and South Carolina. Meanwhile, the total American workforce continues to shrink and is now at its lowest level in more than thirty years with only 63.6% of American adults employed or unemployed but still looking for work.. and 19% of them are employed by the government.

Two Things To Ponder

  1. What do you think will happen when, in the not-too-distant future, the eaters and taker equal or outnumber the makers?
  2. How bad are things already when cutting the size of government will noticeably impact national employment figures?

If anyone truly thinks that this is sustainable, they’re delusional. There just aren’t enough workers left to support the lives and lifestyles of the drones and the very measures that the government now chooses to use to deal with this just accelerate the impending collapse because those measures always include increasing taxes in order to make up some portion of the difference, which drives businesses under or overseas and stifles investment that might fund new businesses.

If you want an example of how this can play out, don’t look just at Greece. Look at Egypt!

Dangerous Weapons

Posted in Politics on December 23rd, 2012

BallotI am always confused by the general lack of understanding of risks, threats, and dangers shown by Liberals and Progressives in their oft-times strident public discourse. They would, if they could, disarm the American population and yet, at the same time, they rant about any sort of checks or restrictions placed upon people’s privilege of voting. This makes it obvious that they have no idea of what are dangerous weapons.

A rational, thinking American can easily answer the question of which is more dangerous and has greater body count to it record, firearms or franchise. That answer, easily arrived at by normal Americans, is franchise. Liberals and Progressives, contrariwise, will look confused and say something to the effect that firearms are dangerous and kill people and voting isn’t dangerous. Indeed, if one poses one of the Left such a question they will look at you as if you’re the one who’s insane.

This is more than a little strange since the only Republican they’ve ever claimed to have liked, President Lincoln, is often misquoted by them as saying that, “The ballot is stronger than the bullet.”

There defense of free and unrestrained or controlled voting and attack upon most, if not all, forms of civilian ownership of firearms is also strange and either stupid or hypocritical in the light of their still ongoing attacks upon President George Bush, Jr.. They still, to this day, call him a war criminal and a mass murderer; “Bush lied and people died!” is still their refrain, and their boy, Obama, successfully got their votes by campaigning against President Bush twice, even though in neither case was President Bush his opponent. As President Bush was elected to office, as were the Congresses that approved all of his actions, the Liberals’ and Progressives’ attitudes make no sense at all.

Insofar as I can see, if these Leftists really wanted to restrict access to dangerous weapons, they’d be willing to start with restricting access to the ballot instead of the bullet as elected officials are far more dangerous than any man or woman with gun.

Sending Christmas Cheer

It’s the Christmas Season and that means it’s the season of giving and sharing. Sending Christmas cheer is part and parcel to the celebration of this holiday.

Mitigating Gun Violence

Posted in Ethics & Morality, Philosophy, Politics, Society on December 21st, 2012

In the wake of the tragic Newton School Massacre the gun grabbers are in the forefront of America’s news media again. This always happens whenever there’s a shooting that viscerally impacts the Middle Class’ sensibilities. Immediately after any such a tragedy various Liberal and Progressive elements start calling for sundry forms of bans upon weapons and ammunition in an attempt at supposedly mitigating gun violence in America.

Americans, of course, are at least equally invested in mitigating gun violence in America. Their chosen means of doing so just radically differ from those of the Liberal and Progressives. Both schools of thought, however, are horribly flawed insofar as probable long-term effectiveness are concerned.

Utilitarian JusticePerhaps a truly utilitarian approach is needed in these circumstances, one that actually addresses gun violence in America.

The rare but well-publicized spree killings aside, you cannot truly address gun violence in America without addressing the “Black Community.” Hence, that is where any real, pragmatic efforts need to be focused and enacted. Any other measures are absolutely assured of failure.

It’s a simple fact that Blacks make up only 12 – 13% of the US population but account for 56.4%% of the murderers who used firearms to kill in the country and 50.9% of the victims of murderers who used firearms.

Offenders
White Black Other
All Homicides 45.8% 52.2% 2.0%
Gun Homicides 41.9% 56.4% 1.7%

The above statistics are an aggregate of homicides between 1976-2005 and quite clearly show where the problem is and what demographic is consistently and disproportionately to their numbers causing it. They also clearly show that, if one wants to dramatically reduce homicides in general and firearm-related homicides in specific, then we have to address the problem of the “Black Community” instead of firearms.

If we took the utilitarian approach and exterminated, enslaved, sequestered, or exiled the Blacks, we’d immediately reduce homicides, especially firearm-related ones, by over 50%. Other crime statistics, unemployment numbers, and poverty rates would drop in similar manner.

If the wholesale remove of the Blacks from America is too extreme, given that many Blacks pose no threat to themselves or others, we could just exterminate, enslave, sequester, or exile the “scary looking” Blacks. This, while having a lesser salutary effect upon homicide statistics, would likely address the worst parts of the situation and eliminate the worst of the homicides.

An even less extreme methodology would be to simply sterilize, i.e., geld, all the Black males in America. While this wouldn’t address the problem in our times it would ensure that our children and our children’s children would not have to contend with the homicide statistics that our generation has to deal with.

NOTE: I’m not being sexist. It is simply that, as veterinary medicine has proven, neutering males is far cheaper and safer than spaying females.

Any of the above measures would curtail American homicides, especially firearm-related homicides, far more effectively and surely than any other measures that could be considered. That’s the primary advantage of the utilitarian approach; it’s results oriented and solely focused on providing the greatest good to greatest number of people.

Nor can there be any valid Constitutional argument against the extermination, enslavement, sequestration, or exile of the Blacks, in whole or in part. Our Founding Fathers and our later forbears never envisioned what the state of America would be with free Black population of any size living within her borders. The Constitution was designed as a “living document” to be amended and revised to reflect the changing circumstances of the country.
