Reflections From a Murky Pond

In 1980 American jurist Harry Kalven, Jr. coined the term “Heckler’s Veto,” which means means, in its strictest sense, when an acting party’s right to freedom of speech is curtailed or restricted by the government in order to prevent a reacting party’s bad or dangerous behavior. In a slightly broader sense it occurs whenever a person or group self-censor in order to avoid a reacting party’s bad or dangerous behavior.

Yield For Sneakers’ Bacon!

What they’re experiencing in the small Vermont town of Winooski is even worse though. It’s the terrorist’s veto.

Last week, Sneakers Bistro and Cafe removed a sign reading “Yield for Sneakers Bacon” from a garden at the Winooski Rotary because a Muslim woman complained about its existence, claiming that as one of the large number of Muslims in this small town it personally offended her.

Be assured that Sneakers only removed the sign out of fear of reprisals and attacks by those Muslims in and around Winooski, VM. Hence, this is a Terrorist’s Veto since censorship, dhimmitude, and compliance with whims and sense of “offense” of Muslims is being enforced through fear of bad behavior on the part of Muslims.

One must remember that there is no difference between the Muslims that would protest and blockade Sneakers, those such as CAIR who would engage in Paper Terrorism and lawfare against them, and those who would engage in violence against them. There all the same except in methodology and they all seek the same disgusting and pernicious goals.

Ah Muslims. Say what you will about them – and much can be said, little to none of it good – but accept the fact that they’ve always been good merchants who knew what goods could be sold for the most shekels.

Omar Is Taking His Train To The Souq

It’s truly variety of goods available for purchase in the Muslims’ souqs (markets) is truly amazing. Where else can you find a Muslim male leading his train of women to market for sale?

Many members of Mankind, especially the sheltered individuals in the Civilized World cling to the fantasy of coexistence and mutual respect for- and tolerance of other faiths and ideologies.

The Muslim Version Of Coexisting

Of course this fantasy is dashed to pieces upon the jagged rocks of reality wherever and whenever Muslims are encountered because, to a Muslim, coexistence is a most grievous sin. Islam requires that Muslims coexist with others only for so long as it takes them to either convert them, subjugate them, or eradicate them.

In my rarely humble opinion, it’s a sad thing that the majority of people don’t believe that there’s any such thing as “Good Muslims.” This is patently untrue; both the world and history are filled with literally billions of good Muslims, Muslims who neither claim nor offense and who commit no acts of evil and/or savagery in their name of either their God or their Pedophile Prophet.

It is simply the duty of Man to purge the evil and bring out the good in the Muslim population, not in the manner of war but in the manner of supporting the public health. 😉

Patrick “Pat” Condell is an Irish-born but British-raised writer, comedian and Atheist internet personality. He’s also one of the few Atheists who I have some respect for because he’s one of the few who will speak against Islam too, as opposed to the more normal Atheist behavior of only attacking Christianity.

In this instance, Mr. Condell pulls no punches in his condemnation of the Liberals’ and Progressives’ rank hypocrisy over Gaza, Hamas, and Israel.

Mr. Condell perfectly summed up the hypocrisy and rabid antisemitism of the Liberals and Progressives, once again insuring that he’ll be the only Atheist that they turn against.

He did something even more important though. He tacitly prescribed a cure for these filth. As the Liberals and Progressives are only willing to voice their hypocrisy and selective moralizing from a suitable safe distance, it behooves we, the People to remove that distance and safety from them. The Liberals and Progressives will be silent as soon as they’re shown by the American people that being otherwise is no longer safe for them or their kin.
