Reflections From a Murky Pond

As all Americans know, Obama’s one of primary duties while in office has been to fundraise for various Democrat politicians. This means that he’s been doing a lot of gala dinners.

Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm Indonesian flame-roasted rat, a staple at Obama’s various fund-raising dinners. I’m so glad that one of the attendees was enough of a foodie to post the pic. 😉

Ok, Ok! I’m just kidding. That is a heaping helping of Indonesian flame-roasted rat. It just wasn’t, insofar as I know, served at any of Obama’s attempts at fund-raising for his fellow-travelers. I’m betting though that the many Dems who got trounced in the 2014 elections due to Obama feel like they choked down some rat.

And at the end of things such will be the legacy of Obama and what passed for the boy’s attempt at ruling over America in a manner decided by his handlers and overseers.

It probably is, or should be, equally offensive to Christian and Pagan alike. Whether you follow Yeshua ben Yosef or Cernunnos, there’s something to this image that will likely strike a chord of offensiveness in you.

You know what the great part is though? It’s that Christian and Pagan alike will do little more than roll their eyes or leave a comment displaying their dislike for my irreverence. They won’t threaten – or try – to kill me or riot worldwide over this.

Self inspection is for most people very difficult, especially when such musing and pondering centers on one’s place in the grand scheme of life.

Oh My God! I’m An NPC!

And yes! We are most of us merely NPCs, bit characters in someone else’s story, forever doomed to play out our small parts and be forgotten, having done little at all which will be remembered by history. But this would be a harsh realization and most people won’t ever make it and will vociferously reject it if it is pointed out to them.

With Autumn upon us and the cold of Winter fast falling towards us, it’s hard to find the will to spend time outside. This is both a shame and a disservice to ourselves.

It’s Luscious on the moors and heaths this time of year and the bit of nip in the air just makes things better. 😉
