Reflections From a Murky Pond

And bringing a whole new meaning and visceral understanding of the old axiom, “Chickens come home to roost,” I present you all with the picture below which I took back in September:

These chickens were stacked up, along with many dozens of other crates of them, right near where Bedford-Stuyveasant, Clinton Hill, and Williamsburg meet, i.e., all along the intersection of Myrtle Ave. and Bedford Ave..

It was a bit of an odd site. In most places the realities of where our food comes from is carefully and thoroughly hidden from view. Not so, apparently, in this area of Brooklyn and I, for one, am happy about this.

Western fairy tales traditionally end with some variation of, “…and they lived happily ever after.” Eastern fairy tales, those filtered through Arab and Persian cultures, tended towards the slightly less upbeat ending of, “…they lived happily until there came to them the One who Destroys all Happiness.”

As these stories are meant for enjoyment of children, these endings are necessary fiction.

 
Let’s face it, if you want the kiddies to sleep well and quietly through the night, you can’t tell them a story with an “ending” that includes the aftermath and later existence of the heroes and heroines. That sort of reboot of these fairy tales is just to close to reality.

According the Obama Regime the (Un)Affordable Care Act aka ObamaCare isn’t a federal healthcare program and is therefor exempt from the laws that forbid rebates, kickbacks, bribes and certain other financial arrangements in federal health programs. Hence, Obamacare exchanges will be able to pay off medical professionals and insurance with impunity, there being – according to the Obama Regime – no judicial recourse.

This is much like Obama’s previous stances on whether or not the Individual Mandate was a tax.

The Obama Regime’s spurious claim that ObamaCare isn’t isn’t a federal healthcare program is ironic though. They’ve inadvertently told the truth about the (U)ACA for the very first time. It’s not a healthcare program of any sort. It’s a miscegenation of a federal power grab and a wealth redistribution scam. 😉

Then again, apply the law to Obama is inherently racist. Obama is a Black and almost all laws, after all, disproportionately effect Blacks. Also, expecting better behavior from Obama than he has displayed is equally racist as it ignores and/or deprecates grifting, shuck and jiving, and tap dancing which are all parts of Black Culture.

One of the things about exorcise is that you’ve got to get “in the zone” and let your mind turn off or, at least, turn down.

I don’t know about you but she’s getting my endorphins flowing. 😛

Dinesh D’Souza, in his blockbuster follow-up to The Roots of Obama’s Rage, shows how Obama is applying his anti-colonial ideology to unmake America and turn it into a country our Founders would hardly recognize and would be both saddened and horrified by.

This is because America as we know it – wealthy, powerful, assertive – is not what Obama wants. Obama wants a smaller America, a poorer America, an America unable to exert its will.

To Obama, the hated “1%” isn’t just wealthy Americans; it is America itself, most likely because, out of the necessity of his privileged upbringing, he’s sublimated his racial hate and angst into a hatred for America as a whole.
