Obama’s Wasteful Budget

Posted in 2012 Election on February 14th, 2012

So, about a week late under the law, Obama has submitted his 2013 budget to Congress. It is, as was expected, nothing but a taxpayer-funded sheaf of empty campaign rhetoric and lies based upon pandering to Leftist populism and class warfare.

Summing Up Obama’s 2013 Budget

Unlike a lot of other people I’m not going to bother dissecting Obama’s budget because I’m not going waste my time pretending that it is anything but more useless jabbering from the Campaigner-in-Chief.

Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV) has indicated he does not plan to send Obama’s 2013 budget, or any budget, to the floor for a vote, claiming that the summerโ€™s Budget Control Act includes funding for the next two years of government operation.

We do not need to bring a budget to the floor this year โ€” it’s done, we don’t need to do it.

— Sen. Harry Reid

Really! What’s the point of stretching out Obama’s “free advertising” by treating his “budget proposal” as if it held any meaning? I, for one, do not choose to lend such aid and comfort to America’s enemies.

Dressed To Kill

The 2012 Grammy Awards were held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 and, as usual the songstresses in attendance were dressed to kill. That somewhat cliched phrase, “Dressed to Kill” seem to have more than one possible meaning this year though…

The Barbadian-born R & B / Hip-Hop singer Rihanna went with the more classic definition of the phrase, looked very fine and hot doing so, and proved once again that Barbados has more to export than rum.

The Russian-born Pop artist, Sasha Gradiva took a more linear and literal definition of “Dressed to Kill” to heart when she chose her ensemble with striking, though not alluring, results. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Two beautiful women, Rihanna and Sasha Gradiva, with two wildly disparate views on Grammy fashion and what “Dressed to Kill” means arrived at equally stunning examples of their take on that phrase.

It’s probably best though that they made the fashion choices that they did. Rihanna, after her Man Down single, might have had trouble getting into the awards ceremony wearing a dress like Sasha Gradiva’s – especially with Chris Brown in attendance. ๐Ÿ˜†

Worst Teacher Ever

It seems that education the educational system, and the general tendency towards failure the latter exhibits is a theme here at Reflections From A Murky Pond, at least for the moment.

I suppose that’s no surprise, given the recent political events and how such teaching failures have permeated pop-culture.

Yeah, Obi-Wan Kenobi was probably the worst teacher ever judging from how his teachings affected Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels. Of course that was long ago, in a galaxy far, far away. They’ve surpassed his level of failure nowadays.

The 44th President

Ladies and Gentlemen of the world, I give you Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America displayed in what will likely become iconic fashion.

Obama proving that education and intelligence are unrelated
Yes, This is the 44th POTUS

And believe me, if you’re reading this from outside the US, I and all Americans wish I could give him to you, though that would be cruel on our part and you’d be foolish to accept the offer.

The boy is walking, talking – and talking, and talking, and talking ad nauseatum – proof that being handed access to fine educational opportunities will not necessarily make one smart or wise.

You’ve got to give him credit though; he’s the only boy on the planet than can say, “Err….Derp,” and have thousands die and economies topple.

Tragic Comedy

In the morality play that is the theater provided humanity by the Liberals and Progressives constant moralistic rantings and ravings it is the act that is their preaching about the evils of fossil fuel powered vehicles that is the most comic.

Burning Fossil Fuels Is A Sin

But these self-righteous, ever-moralizing these eco-Leftists have baptized themselves in the “greenwash” and cannot see beyond themselves because to do so would tragically end their misplaced feelings of self-worth.

The only true tragedy is that Americans have continued to allow these fools to have any sort of voice in shaping the course of America. The comedy is self-evident.
