Muslim Genesis

Posted in Humor, Religion on December 10th, 2011

Muslims believe in Adam and Eve in a manner similar to the way that Christians and Jews do.

We Need To Find You A Bigger Leaf, Eve!

Of course, their imagery of the tale is a bit different than the other Abrahamic sects’ and reflects their “culture’s” sensitivities. 😆

The Doppler Effect

Posted in Humor, Politics on December 9th, 2011

Obama is hardly original. Almost all of his mountings are little more than channeling the words of past heads of state. He oft times echoes Carter, Nixon, and even The defunct USSR’s Gorbachev. Now he’s channeling Teddy Roosevelt.

Big Schtick
Actually, It’s Speak Often In Obama’s Case

The boy seems to have forgotten that these echoes are subject to Doppler effect and their tones are changed by this and not in a manner favorable to his sole goal of keeping his job for four more years.

The funny part is that Obama has changed science by doing this. He’s proven that “Red Shift” can apply to sounds as well light. 😛

Mister 25%

Mitt Romney aka Mittens aka Mr. 25% has a real problem when it comes to polling his appeal to American voters. It doesn’t seem to matter how much effort the lamestream media puts forth to secure him Republican Presidential Nomination; he just keeps hovering around 25%.

Romney's Big BreakPoor Little Mittens Has A Problem

Perhaps, if Americans started an “Occupy The Primaries” movement and held up signs saying, “I’m One Of The 75%,” Mr. Romney might get the hint that the American people want a true choice in the 2012 Presidential Elections and we don’t consider him a choice.

Romney should go beg Obama’s handlers to let him replace Biden on the Dems’ 2012 ticket. Mittens and Obama are brothers by a different mother.

Romney’s “big break” broke because he’s ideologically bankrupt. He’d make a great CEO for Waffle House but not an American President. 😉

Obama’s Current Health

Posted in Humor, Politics on December 8th, 2011

Relatively soon the SCOTUS will render it’s opinion on the constitutionality of Obamacare’s individual mandate and, since the law includes no means for severing it’s component parts, the legality and continuance of Obamacare as a whole.

Obamacare Under The Knife
Sometimes To Save The Body Diseased Parts Must Be Excised

The prognosis for Obama’s “signature achievement” is fairly grim. Worse for him and his Liberals, the SCOTUS are not often surgically precise and the gavel is a hammer, not a scalpel. 😉

Given the current poor health of Obamacare and Obama’s presidency in general, one has to begin to wonder if Obama has filed a DNR notice – Do Not Reelect. 😆

Worth Dying For

In 1822 AD Kenelm Henry Digby summed up chivalry in a most apt and succinct fashion.

Chivalry is only a name for that general spirit or state of mind which disposes men to heroic actions, and keeps them conversant with all that is beautiful and sublime in the intellectual and moral world.

— Kenelm Henry Digby
The Broad Stone Of Honour

And chivalry’s greatest lasting boon was always it’s idea of gallantry and courtliness, not it’s mandates for courage and martial ability. That a man be better measured by his comportment with women than his zest for battle is why the concept of chivalry lasted well into the 20th century.

Chivalry Didn’t Die; It Was Murdered

The rise and inevitable corruption of Feminism killed off chivalry – or, at the very least, beat it into a coma from which it is not expected to awaken. The 2nd Wave Feminists viewed all examples of courtly behavior and gentlemanliness as examples of “The Patriarchy” and oppression.

There are, however, some few women who appreciate chivalry and who, by that appreciation, deserve to always be shown such. It is just a matter of finding them in latter cultural dark ages.

As for the others, these self-disgendered “womyn” – grant them their oft-spouted wish and let them look to themselves for succor, treating them no differently than any man who might take the field. 😉
