The Leftists’ Kool-Aid

Posted in Humor, Politics on September 5th, 2011

The the Leftists, these Liberals and Progressives, have been drinking the Kool-Aid handed out to them by their master in great draughts is obvious. They gulp it down with the sick frenzy of addicts. Worse, like the true dregs of humanity that they are, when they are denied their preferred fix, they turn to cruder intoxicants such as what Obama sold throughout their ranks in recent times – much in the same way as derelicts will turn to Sterno when booze is not available.

What has been the question facing Americans though is what exactly is this Leftist Kool-Aid that they’re guzzling. Just what is this strange brew that give them such garish visions and whips them into such destructive frenzies? We, at long last, have found out…

Leninade
We Have Found Their Kool-Aid

Sadly, even finding the intoxicant that these Liberals and Progressives so readily get hopped up on serves America little at all. It is easily and cheaply produced and, unlike the “Kool-Aid” of Jonestown, it’s not immediately fatal to the drinker, instead causing mortal harm to all those better people surrounding them.

I have my doubts about the possibility of reforming these addicts. A junkie is a junkie and will always be so and this Leninade seems worse than crack or meth, so a twelve-step program seems unlikely to help. Still, America has to do something about the Leftists and the Kool-Aid addiction.

At least we’ve discovered the Leftists’ Kool-Aid. Breaking the supply chain can be worked out later. 😛

A New Paradigm (NSFW)

With the changing face of the American workforce and the breakdown of strict gender roles in employment isn’t it about time for a new paradigm in smut and porn? Isn’t it about time, if not past time, for their to be more eroticism centered on blue collar or working women since we’ve now plenty of them?

Why keep strictly to the old stereotypes and the old imagery when they no longer hold as even remotely close to universally valid or relevant?

Why not sexy women as blue collar workers? The old porn standbys of the plumber, construction worker, repairman, and mechanic can work with women in those roles as well as men, and without much thought needed to modify tableau.

They’re Seriously Working It 😛

Since a recent poll I conducted showed mixed but overall positive responses to truly muscular women – without indicating a bias towards dominatrices – it’s not as if there’s no sexual market for stronger women.

Nobody in the right mind would call me a Feminist – not with what that movement degenerated into – but it does not seem to be a good thing for the porn industry, already not a bastion of societal benefit, to continue to promulgate a set of gender roles that are no longer applicable to society. Doing so only reinforces the idea that women can’t be sexually attractive if they work blue collar jobs previously relegated solely to men.

It’s for a new paradigm to be added to the mix. Prurience is adaptable; the market will bear – and bare – the addition. 😉

She’s Born This Way

Posted in Humor, Music on September 3rd, 2011

With the ongoing popularity of Lady Gaga aka Stefani Germanotta as both a singer and a pop-culture and style icon of sorts and the fact that the title track of her second Album, Born This Way has become something akin to her anthem, it behooves us all to think about the message that she is sending.

The whole born that way vs. made a choice debate has been with us for a long time. It’s nothing but the nature vs. nurture argument recast in new words and applied to different behaviors and attitudes.

So perhaps Lady Gaga’s penchant for outrageous “fashion statements” has a genetic component. Perhaps we should look at her ancestry to see if there’s been a tendency for those of her blood to dress in similar fashions…

To be fair though, science has made some interesting strides and it’s obvious that the brains of Liberals and Americans aren’t built or wired in the same way.

Lady Gaga's Grandmother?
Grandma Gaga?

Perhaps Ms. Germanotta’s persona, with it’s outre public behavior and dress sense, is purely a matter of choice. Then again, perhaps it’s a matter of genetics. Perhaps she’s born this way. 😆

NOTE: This post is pure humor and meant without malice of any sort. In the Gods’ honest truth, Lady Gaga is a sane and amazingly rational young woman. Behind closed doors where it won’t affect her image she’s been an island of calm, serenity, and normalcy within the turbulent sea of the drama queens of her entourage and label.

Ophelia Revenant (NSFW)

Have you ever considered what it would be like if Hollywood took a greater interest in the classics, especially the works of William Shakespeare?

While Hollywood will upon occasion produce a movie version of one of Shakespeare’s play, they rarely put much effort into it or seem to take it particularly seriously – and this is a good thing in my opinion because I think that Hollywood would make a complete mess of things, especially in these days.

Between updated and “gritty” remakes / reboots and the seemingly overwhelming desire to turn everything into a “franchise,” Hollywood would be sure to turn the works of William Shakespeare into mockeries of themselves were they to truly turn their attentions to his works.

Ophelia Revenant
Hamlet 2 – The Rising of Ophelia

At a bare minimum (pun very much intended) we could expect a sequel to Hamlet with the naked revenant of Ophelia rising from the waters she drowned in to wreak death and havoc upon whatever characters decided that Hollywood decided to include in the inevitable sequel.

And don’t even get me started on the contortions they Hollywood types would go through in order to provide a “racial diverse” cast for a franchise set in medieval Denmark!

Trust me in this; we’re all better off with Hollywood continuing to essentially ignore the classics, especially Shakespeare. What they would do to the Bard’s works, judging from their recent attempts to “revitalize” older works, would be an abomination and abhorrent.
