Improving US-Arab Ties

Posted in Humor, Politics on June 12th, 2009

On Jun 4, 2009, President Obama went to Cairo, Egypt and gave a speech to the Islamic World. It was entitled, A New Beginning, a seemed to promise a less overtly hostile attitude from US government toward the Muslim World.  Given the apologetic and conciliatory tone of the address, I was quick to disparage it. Given the antipodal natures of America and Islam, I found it’s entire premise to be fatally flawed.

I had overlooked the fact that, while President Obama was careful to formally address the Islamic World as a whole, he was actually speaking to the Arabs and the Persians. He was speaking to the controlling partners in OPEC. Given that fact and the fact that he is in the processes of semi-nationalizing the US auto industry,  President Obama may well be ushering a new era of improved US-Arab relations.

Yes, President Obama’s administration having ownership of majority shares of the remains of both GM and Chrysler will definitely have the Arabs rethinking their bargaining positions with the United States. 😉

Indians & Cunniligus

In India they take cunnilingus seriously and they’re not shy about it at all.

Vagina Tandoori - In India, when they describe eating pussy, they really mean it.

Of course, in a country that gave the world the Kama Sutra and Tantram, one would have to expect that they’d like things hot and spicy. 😉

I’ll say one thing; I’d love to see their menu!

Fourth Estate Sale

Posted in Politics on June 10th, 2009

What happens when the Mainstream Media (MSM) sells it’s last shred of journalistic ethics to some nameless Devil in order to become the propaganda machine for certain non-normative ideologies? What happens when the Fourth Estate becomes a Fifth Column within America?

Below is an example of exactly what has happened and what is continuing to happen at an ever accelerating rate.

There was a time in America’s past when the media was largely staffed by journalists. Sadly this is no longer the case and objective reporting of the news has given way to social activism and the desire to shape the news as opposed to reporting it.

And so they held a Fourth Estate Sale, in which the remains left behind by the death of journalism were sold off to various groups who have used them to attack America from within. And some people wonder why so many of the MSM outlets are failing…

The Muslim World

Posted in Politics, Society on June 9th, 2009

During President Obama’s Jun 4, 2009 rambling, nuanced speech in Cairo, Egypt, he reiterate his oft-repeated talking point that America is not at war with Islam.

In Ankara, I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam. We will, however, relentlessly confront violent extremists who pose a grave threat to our security. Because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children.

Sadly for the world President Obama is either lying or woefully wrong; America is, in harsh and unforgiving fact, at war with Islam and the Muslim World. It is a running war between two ideological antipodes, slavery and freedom; Islam and America. It will be fought in people’s hearts and minds, in the hoary halls of government, in the courts of law, and upon carnage littered battlefields until one side or the other is defeated and lays broken at the feet of the victor.

Obama: US To Pay Jizyah

Posted in Politics on June 4th, 2009

Obama smirkingOn Jun 4, 2009, President Obama went to Cairo, Egypt and gave a speech to the Islamic World. It was entitled, A New Beginning. One has to wonder though both what President Obama plans to end and what new thing he wishes to begin.

His speech followed his normal format. It was a mixture of apologies for America’s beliefs and actions and vilification of the Bush-Cheney administration, as are most of Obama’s speeches to foreigners.

There was something new in President Obama’s Cairo speech though. Well into it, after the apologies and the vilification of his predecessors, after the praise of Islam and reiterated commitment to see it flourish in America, after the now-expected lack of support for Israel, was something very chilling and outrageous. It was the promise to pay Muslims for peace in our time.

qaatilul-ladhiyna laa yu’minuuna bil-laahi wa laa bil yawmil aakhiri wa laa yuHar-rimuuna maa Har-ramal-laahu wa rasuuluhuu wa laa yadiynuuna diynal Haq-qi minal-ladhiyna uutul kitaaba Hat-taa yu’Ã…Tul jizyata ‘Ay yadiw wa hum Saagiruun

Fight against the People given the Book(s) who do not accept faith in Allah and the Last Day, and who do not treat as forbidden what is forbidden by Allah and by His Noble Messenger, and who do not follow the true religion, until they pay the tariff with their own hands with humiliation.

— Ahmed Raza Khan: Mohammed Aqib Qadri
Qur’an Chapter 9: Al-Tawba (Repentence) Verse 29

Essentially, in Obama’s ever-nuanced fashion, he promised that the US would pay Jizyah, the Dhimmi’s tax to the Muslim World.

On education, we will expand exchange programs, and increase scholarships, like the one that brought my father to America, while encouraging more Americans to study in Muslim communities. And we will match promising Muslim students with internships in America; invest in on-line learning for teachers and children around the world; and create a new online network, so a teenager in Kansas can communicate instantly with a teenager in Cairo.

On economic development, we will create a new corps of business volunteers to partner with counterparts in Muslim-majority countries. And I will host a Summit on Entrepreneurship this year to identify how we can deepen ties between business leaders, foundations and social entrepreneurs in the United States and Muslim communities around the world.

On science and technology, we will launch a new fund to support technological development in Muslim-majority countries, and to help transfer ideas to the marketplace so they can create jobs. We will open centers of scientific excellence in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and appoint new Science Envoys to collaborate on programs that develop new sources of energy, create green jobs, digitize records, clean water, and grow new crops. And today I am announcing a new global effort with the Organization of the Islamic Conference to eradicate polio. And we will also expand partnerships with Muslim communities to promote child and maternal health.

I’m fairly sure that those Muslims who heard President Obama’s speech were far more impressed with his willingness to pay for peace, or at least a reduction in violence, than they were with the rest of his words. Muslims aren’t stupid about these things; they understand words, actions, and power – and the relative worth of each.

I’m also fairly sure that a lot of Americans, with the exception of the Muslims residing here and the more devoted of Obama’s followers, who heard President Obama’s speech were quite upset – as I obviously was – over his promise to spend our money to placate the Muslims. Last I heard – even from President Obama and others in his administration – we can’t afford to be spending like that anymore.

Also, America does not pay tribute to Muslim rulers or states. We settled that matter when we took Tripoli during First Barbary War in 1805.
