Those 12,903 killings equate to approximately one drug killing every 30 minutes of every day for the first 9 months of last year.

Most of Mexico’s drug war killings haven place in just eight of Mexico’s 31 states, five of those ones that share a border with the United States. Yet, as long as those deaths are Mexicans and the happen south of the border, Americans won’t care and America will fear to do anything about the chaos and hell raging across the failed state to our south.

Nothing to see here. Move along! We wouldn’t want to upset anyone or force them from their comfort zone.

Worse for Obama and his handlers, his hand puppet Justice Elena Kagan has been forced to recuse herself due to her having been involved in the administration’s initial legal opposition to the law as Obama’s solicitor general.

Given that the SCOTUS is also currently hearing the Obama Regime’s continued appeals against Arizona’s 2007 Legal Arizona Workers Act and is expected to uphold a lower court’s ruling in favor of Arizona, things are not looking well for Obama, his handlers, and the illegal immigrants whose legal relatives they’re pandering to.

Nor can they respond consistently to those same issues. For example, the Liberals and Progressives loath and hate the pilgrims’ colonization of America and always seek to frame it in terms of conquest and the rape and destruction of the Native Americans’ culture.

Yet they loath and hate Americans who have learned from the Native Americans’ past mistakes of allowing immigrants who refused to assimilate to survive and to colonize America.

They’re funny that way, or would be if Americans weren’t so tolerant of them that we’ve allowed them to have some measure of input into our nation’s actions.

This particular nightmare is the belief that he illegally and unconstitutionally de facto enacted the DREAM Act via executive order even though the Senate killed the bill in December, 2010.

Despite the MSM’s apparent refusal to report upon it, the news of Obama’s actions of Friday, June 24,2011 leaked out via alternative journalistic outlets on the internet, raising the expected combination of outrage from Americans and praise from Liberals and their minority tenants.

This particular post, apparently by The Examiner (link is restricted) has been making the rounds of the internet this weekend. It’s been cited by both Conservatives and Liberals, though obviously with differing intent and emphasis.

On Friday, the Obama administration issued a memo announcing that federal immigration officials do not have to deport illegal aliens if they are enrolled in any type of education program, if their family members have volunteered for U.S. military service, or even if they are pregnant or nursing.

This new policy of “prosecutorial discretion” was quietly announced on Friday afternoon, and completely ignored by the mainstream press.

Author of Arizona’s SB1070 and Kansas’ secretary of state, Kris Kobach, told the Daily Caller: “They’re pushing the [immigration] agents to be even more lax, to go further in not enforcing the law. At a time when millions of Americans are unemployed and looking for work, this is more bad news coming from the Obama administration… [if the administration] really cared about putting Americans back to work, it would be vigorously enforcing the law.”

While the facts involved in this are evidenced by a July 17, 2011 internal memorandum by the ICE’s Director to all immigration enforcement personnel, the conclusion that Obama has illegally and unconstitutionally enacted the DREAM Act via executive order is a long stretch.

The memo, and presumably the executive order that prompted it, deals solely with enforcement priorities for a law enforcement agency that doesn’t have the resources to meet the full scope of the demands that the law places upon it.

When weighing whether an exercise of prosecutorial discretion may be warranted for a given alien, ICE officers, agents, and attorneys should consider all relevant factors, including, but not limited to:

• The agency’s civil immigration enforcement priorities;
• The person’s length of presence in the United States, with particular consideration given to presence while in lawful status;
• The circumstances of the person’s arrival in the United States and the manner of his or her entry, particularly if the alien came to the United States as a young child;
• The person’s pursuit of education in the United States, with particular consideration given to those who have graduated from a U.S. high school or have successfully pursued or are pursuing a college or advanced degrees at a legitimate institution of higher education in the United States;
• Whether the person, or the person’s immediate relative, has served in the U.S. military, reserves, or national guard, with particular consideration given to those who served in combat;
• The person’s criminal history, including arrests, prior convictions, or outstanding arrest warrants;
• The person’s immigration history, including any prior removal, outstanding order of removal, prior denial of status, or evidence of fraud;
• Whether the person poses a national security or public safety concern;
• The person’s ties and contributions to the community, including family relationships;
• The person’s ties to the home country and condition~ in the country;
• The person’s age, with particular consideration given to minors and the elderly;
• Whether the person has a U.S. citizen or permanent resident spouse, child, or parent;
• Whether the person is the primary caretaker of a person with a mental or physical disability, minor, or seriously ill relative;
• Whether the person or the person’s spouse is pregnant or nursing;
• Whether the person or the person’s spouse suffers from severe mental or physical illness;
• Whether the person’s nationality renders removal unlikely;
• Whether the person is likely to be granted temporary or permanent status or other relief from removal, including as a relative of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
• Whether the person is likely to be granted temporary or permanent status or other relief from removal, including as an asylum seeker, or a victim of domestic violence, human trafficking, or other crime; and
• Whether the person is currently cooperating or has cooperated with federal, state or local law enforcement authorities, such as ICE, the U.S Attorneys or Department of Justice, the Department of Labor, or National Labor Relations Board, among others.

This list is not exhaustive and no one factor is.determinative. ICE officers, agents, and attorneys should always consider prosecutorial discretion on a case-by-case basis. The decisions should be based on the totality of the circumstances, with the goal of conforming to ICE’s enforcement priorities.

The June 17, 2011 memo from the ICE Director, John Morton then goes on to provide further, more succinct guidance to the ICE’s officers, agents, and attorneys:

That said, there are certain classes of individuals that warrant particular care. As was stated in the Meissner memorandum on Exercising Prosecutorial Discretion, there are factors that can help ICE officers, agents, and attorneys identify these cases so that they can be reviewed as early as possible in the process.

The following positive factors should prompt particular care and consideration:

• Veterans and members of the U.S. armed forces;
• Long-time lawful permanent residents;
• Minors and elderly individuals;
• Individuals present in the United States since childhood;
• Pregnant or nursing women;
• Victims of domestic violence; trafficking, or other serious crimes;
• Individuals who suffer from a serious mental or physical disability; and
• Individuals with serious health conditions.

In exercising prosecutorial discretion in furtherance of ICE’s enforcement priorities, the following negative factors should also prompt particular care and consideration by ICE officers, agents, and attorneys:

• Individuals who pose a clear risk to national security;
• Serious felons, repeat offenders, or individuals with a lengthy criminal record of any kind;
• Known gang members or other individuals who pose a clear danger to public safety; and
• Individuals with an egregious record of immigration violations, including those with a record of illegal re-entry and those who have engaged in immigration fraud.

It cannot be disputed that the criteria for illegal immigrants to benefit from the DREAM Act are included within the criteria for prosecutorial discretion, but this is to be expected. Those same sorts of illegal immigrants that some want to grant amnesty are utterly unsurprisingly the sorts of illegal immigrants that pose the least threat to America and are, hence, low enforcement priorities.

Whether we Americans like it or not, the ICE – as is similarly the case with all current law enforcement agencies – has limited resources to remove those illegally in the United States. Therefor the ICE must prioritize its use of its enforcement personnel, detention space, and removal assets in order to ensure that the illegal immigrants it removes represent, as much as is reasonably feasible, the agency’s enforcement priorities, namely the promotion of national security, border security, public safety, and the integrity of the immigration system.

Obama hasn’t provided a path to naturalization for these illegal immigrants. The proverbial Sword of Damocles still hangs over their heads and arrest, detainment, and/or deportation could happen to them at any time if ICE resources become available. The POTUS has just formalized the existing unwritten guidelines for where and how the ICE focuses its efforts to get the American people the maximum protection and return on their investment.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking I’m sympathetic towards Obama in this issue. This is a nightmare that Obama has crafted for himself by his short but consistent history of usurping the powers of the Legislative via executive orders. Whatever pain he suffers over this is just well-deserved and not too-delayed karma.

There’s no reason, however, to throw the baby out with bath water, and setting a framework for prosecutorial discretion by the ICE is a sane thing to do and to the benefit of Americans. I’d not like to see Obama, ever campaigning as he is, to reverse himself on this to our detriment.

Take her recent outburst on illegal immigration as an example:

We have 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country that are part of the backbone of our economy and this is not only a reality but a necessity,” she said. “And that it would be harmful – the Republican solution that I’ve seen in the last three years is that we should just pack them all up and ship them back to their own countries and that in fact it should be a crime and we should arrest them all.

She’s quite right. The GOP does believe that illegal immigration is a crime and that illegal immigrants should be shipped back to their own countries after they served the appropriate prison sentences for their crimes, which often include identity theft and document fraud along with the crime of illegally entering the United States.

She’s quite right. We have approximately 12 million illegal immigrants in this country that are part of the backbone of our economy and this is not only a reality but a necessity if we are to continue to operate large segments of our economy in the manner that we’ve always been accustomed to.

Of course, most people would actually understand that any phrase with the adjective “illegal” in it would be, even discounting the concomitant infractions, criminal in nature. Apparently not the DNC’s chairwoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz though. She seems to prefer to portray being shock at the Republicans wanting to protect our borders and enforce America’s laws.

That the DNC’s Chairwoman, representing the Democrat Party, has a problem with- and chooses to vilify the GOP for wanting to enforce American immigration laws is of only minor concern though. It’s to be expected; our culture is rife with phrases that explain the Dems’ support for illegal immigration – phrases such as, “Undocumented Democrat” and “D.O.A – Democrat On Arrival.”

This, however, is a very small matter and, as a moral failing, pales beside Wasserman-Schultz’s greater evil, her support for human trafficking and de facto slavery.

It is a sad and shameful fact that segments of America’s economy, especially the agriculture, construction, manufacturing, and low-end service segments, are heavily based upon the use of a labor pool that is paid a mere pittance and worked in a fashion that no American would tolerate and that would be illegal if it were applied to Americans.

The average illegal immigrant, often working as much as 70 hours a week, makes just under $6000 per annum and has no benefits whatsoever. Nor do they have any practical recourse to abusive or unsafe working conditions. That is slavery in a very real sense, though few illegal immigrants are branded or collared.

I loath and despise illegal immigrants because of the crime, disease, and filth so many of them bring to my country, but that doesn’t mean I condone their enslavement in all but name.

That the DNC’s Chairwoman thinks that this is a necessary part of the backbone of our economy is beyond reprehensible and disgusting. I’m forced to wonder if the Democrat Party has, in last century and a half, moved as far from being “the Party of slavery” as we’ve been previously repeatedly told.

Keep your eyes open. Travel light but load heavy, and always put another round in the enemy after they’re down.

It has been dubbed the “Business Death Penalty” because it allows Arizona to shutdown businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

Specifically it allows Arizona to suspend the business license of any company that knowingly hires illegal immigrants for a minimum of 10 days upon the first offense and permanently upon the second or later offense. It also mandates that companies must use the federal governments E-Verify system to validate hirees’ employment eligibility.

This is the true beginning of immigration reform – real immigration reform – because it strikes at the festering core of illegal immigration by punishing those within America who enable, aid, abet, and profit off of these criminal foreign invaders.

What “President” Felipe Calderon tries to pass off as Mexico’s government is a sham and an utter failure. Mexico is a failed state that has devolved into chaos with various parts of it ruled by violently competing drug cartels.

In very many ways Mexico has degenerated into a vile and disgusting morass much like that found in the pseudo-nations of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Yet, unlike Afghanistan and Pakistan, America’s government will not intervene and will do nothing meaningful to ameliorate the situation at all. Unlike Afghanistan and Pakistan, Mexico is not comfortably thousands of miles and an ocean away from America and America’s people.

We’ve seen the brutality, atrocities, and savage criminality that the thugs and their warlords of the cartels incessantly revel in:

But, by and large, America will do nothing about it, even when it spills across our southern border and into our towns and cities.

But, aside from trying to clean it up and bemoaning that it happened in the first place, America will do nothing about it.

Mexican troops in full uniform and “battle rattle” have crossed America’s borders under arms hundreds of times in support of the drug cartels and have, in the course of doing so, repeatedly attacked American Border Patrol agents.

Yet America’s federal government will not only do nothing to quell these armed incursions into our sovereign territory, they have striven to take actions that lend material aid and comfort to these foreign enemies and prevent our border states from protecting themselves in even the most basic fashion.

Unless something fundamental in America’s viewpoint and philosophy changes drastically, nothing substantive will be done to address and/or correct any of these horrific problems and the threats they pose to the men, women and children of America.

Beyond Mere Politics

There’s no way any American can deny that politics plays its part in our government’s abject failure to deal with the situation that has arisen in Mexico and regularly spills across the border into America. But, even if we removed the Democrats’ pandering to the Liberals and minorities and the Republicans’ refusal to go against the wishes of the businesses who rely and profit upon illegal immigrant workers, the government will still not doing anything meaningful about the situation.

Restabilizing Mexico and removing the cartels’ influence would require significant levels of armed force and a lengthy occupation of that nation -  in other words, it would require a war and subsequent peace-keeping efforts quite similar to what we fought in Iraq.

Mexico is just too close to the US for any administration to authorize such an action. We share 1,969 miles of contiguous land border – a border that is largely unfortified and difficult to patrol – and it would be impossible to contain the war south of it.

This is made far worse by the fact that the US has already been infiltrated by over 6 million Mexican illegal immigrants at any given time, any or all of whom might take up arms against America’s civilian population if the US authorized the use military force to prop up Mexico’s government.

Add to that sickeningly huge number of enemies already behind what would be our lines the 700,000 – 1,000,000 Black and Latino “gangbangers” who make their living off the drug trade.  They are well-armed, experienced in urban warfare, inured to savagery and violence, and hold a deep and abiding hatred of America in general and for Whites in particular.

No; given all that, no POTUS and no Congress is ever going to do anything about the drug-driven chaos in Mexico no matter how much it spills across our borders. They would never want to be the ones who brought that sort of war to American soil.

But the world has changed and Canada is now facing a problem similar in form, if not in the nature of the posed threat, to that which America has faced for many long years.

It seems that, in the wake of the 2010 Elections and the shift of America back to its core values and cultural mores, Liberals and Progressives are “wetbacking” across the border into Canada seeking the Statist, Neo-Socialist utopia that has been denied them by the patriots in the Unites States.

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The recent actions of the Tea Party are prompting an exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, and to agree with Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.

Canadian border farmers say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night. “I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield , whose acreage borders North Dakota . The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?”

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields. “Not real effective,” he said. “The liberals still got through and Rush annoyed the cows so much that they wouldn’t give any milk.”

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves.” A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions,” an Ontario border patrolman said. “I found one carload without a single bottle of imported drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley Cabernet, though.”

When liberals are caught, they’re sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans in powdered wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the ’50s. “If they can’t identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age.” an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and are renting all the Michael Moore movies “I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can’t support them.” an Ottawa resident said. “How many art-history majors does one country need?”

Certainly Canada’s border woes aren’t as immediately threatening as what America faces, but it’s still a problem. The increased crowds and lines at Tim Hortons – or worse, Starbucks using these illegal Liberal immigrants as a beach head – alone is a problem that few Canadians are ready to face with equanimity.

On the bright side, these are Leftists, various Liberals and Progressives, which are fleeing America. That can only be a good thing for the American people. On the other hand though, Canada is an ally – most of the time – and it behooves us to police our own and help stem this influx of parasites into our sister nation.

Of course, perhaps America and Canada could team up and solve for two questions with a single answer. We could round up these Liberals and send them to Quebec!

As pleasant for Americans as the thought of the Leftists fleeing in droves across our northern borders might be, this is purely a fantasy based upon an odd “article” that went viral across the internet.

Sadly, there are no large numbers of Liberals and Progressives fleeing from the revitalized United States.

The Manitoba Herald, while a real daily newspaper, was only published from January 11 – August 2, 1877; the supposed author of the article, Clive Runnels simply doesn’t exist; and the Manitoba farmer, Red Greenfield is likely a riff on the Canadian comic character, Red Green created by long time comedian, Steve Smith Jr. and his Morag.
