Johnson & Johnson – Economic Terrorists

Johnson & Johnson willfully engaged in economic terrorism by filing a civil lawsuit against the American Red Cross and four of its licensing partners for “unlawful conduct” related to the nonprofit’s use of the Red Cross emblem. In a blatant attempt to line their pockets at the expense of both worldwide medical relief efforts and America’s ability to prepare for- and respond to national disasters of either natural or manmade origin, Johnson & Johnson is suing the American Red Cross to force them to stop using the red cross logo and to force them to turn over all red cross emblazoned first aid, preparedness and related products for destruction. Johnson & Johnson also wants the American Red Cross to turn over all the proceeds ever generated from the sale of this equipment.

This is a direct assault on the security of America and on relief efforts across the world. Johnson & Johnson’s use of vagaries of the law and their own economic might to attack the American Red Cross must be considered an act of economic terrorism and should be treated as such. Any attorneys who filed the suit are terrorists. Any judge who hears the suit instead of throwing it out of court is lending material aid to terrorists.

America’s response to this sort of home grown terrorism should be swift and without mercy. It is long past the time when we should have to tolerate such traitorous behavior. If Johnson & Johnson won’t relent in this suit and apologize to America for their treason, then America must take whatever steps are necessary to eliminate Johnson & Johnson. Allowing a traitor to survive is condoning treason.

I would just like to thank you for this thoughtful blog. I appreciate very much the term “economic terrorism” used to describe this outrage. As an AmeriCorps member working through the Red Cross I could not come close to accurately placing into words the anger evoked from reading the press release. Perhaps when I have calmed down a bit I will be able to write something as great as this! Keep up the good work, and drop me a line!

You’re welcome. I’m fortunate in that words don’t usually fail me when I’m angry.
