House Passes ObamaCare

Nancy Pelosi

The next step in Obama and his Liberals’ destruction of America and the American values of liberty and self-reliance has been taken. The US House of Representative, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her cabal of vermin, passed HR 3962, mendaciously named the, “Affordable Health Care for America Act,” in a 220-215 vote.

39 Democrats – what are called, “Blue Dogs” – voted against this abomination, but one lone Republican turned traitor to Party and Country, and voted in favor of destroying America.

The traitor’s name is Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao (R-LA) and he represents the New Orleans district (District 22), a decidedly Democrat – and, of course, their minority tenants – stronghold.

Today, I obtained a commitment from President Obama that he and I will work together to address the critical health care issues of Louisiana including the FMAP crisis and community disaster loan forgiveness, as well as issues related to Charity and Methodist Hospitals. And, I call on my constituents to support me as I work with him on these issues.

Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao

Rep. Cao – known now as “Caowardly Traitor” or “Yellow Dog” – was obviously bought off by Obama and his Liberals. Of course, knowing Obama and his paid political assassin, Rahm Emanuel, some form of pressure beyond mere bribery was probably brought to bear upon Rep. Cao prior to his defection.

Americans must remember this day and this vote. Those who voted for this bill and against America must be harshly and mercilessly punished by any and all means available.

Attention will now shift to the US Senate where Sen. Harry Ried and his nest of Liberal vermin holds sway.

Perhaps we can still save ourselves, our nation, and our children’s future from Obama and his Liberals, but I hold out little hope that it can be done by mere words. Action, now as a preventative or later as a punishment and remediation, will likely be needed if Americans our to recover our nation from the domestic enemies that now try to rule it.

Unfortunately, Obama is anything BUT a liberal. This half-assed excuse for healthcare reform is only going to line the pockets of the insurance giants further, without providing any real support for the people. Shame on them.

I am throughly pissed off about the passing of this sorry excuse for a bill, but for entirely different reasons. Pro-choice has been all but decimated, and seeing as our first argument was concerning our disagreement on this very issue, I would think you would be doing a victory dance right now.

  3. Josh Brandt Says:

This has never been about the people. This is about control and a merciless marxist agenda. I could have guessed that the dissenter would be from Louisiana, they are just riddled with corruption.

I will be calling the congressman’s office on Monday to tell him that , even though I don’t live in his district or even his state, I will be donating to his opponent in the primary and if necessary in the election to make sure that he loses his seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Kelly Mahan Jaramillo Says:

On a note regarding Republican Representative Anh “Joseph” Cao – there was no bribery involved – he went with the bill because he stated that he would not consider voting unless the pro-life agenda was added. So yes, they got their one Republican vote and they got it because they caved to the right wing agenda.

I would hardly say that Rep. Cao has defected.

Looks like nobody on either side is happy with this bill.

Whether your like the bill or not, there was never a doubt that it would pass. The political bickering about the bill didn’t help any, it only made things worse. If the parties merely got together to come to a compromise on this bill, rather than spitting dirt every chance they found, we would have a far better piece of legislation.

I am glad that the bill was passed, but I am hesitant to applaud this bill until I see it working as law. It is far too early for me to form a solid opinion.

Okay the above is just too funny – ‘Kelly Mahan Jaramillo on” becomes Kelly Mahan Jaramilloon.

Best laugh of the day Jonolan, I am serious. 🙂 Whatever the glitch, or non glitch, it is hysterical. And oh-so-true.

Igh! Fixed! Pingbacks are weird at the best of times.

Oh damn! I liked it! Feel free to put it back whenever I get too annoying. 🙂

    Aminta,

There are two schools of thought on Obama. Either he was telling the truth about his agenda, in which case he IS a far Left Liberal, or he was lying about his agenda and is nothing but a self-serving narcissist ala Bill Clinton.

    Kelly,

The Stupak Amendment is just Cao’s excuse. He was either bribed by the Obama administration with added funding for New Orleans or threatened by them with the withholding of same. That much was obvious from Cao’s own statements.

    Josh,

That’s pretty much true. The problem is that they believe that their Marxist agenda is for the people who they feel must be controlled cradle to grave for their own good. 🙁

    Lilola,

That’s a good start. I’d prefer to remove Cao before the elections, if at all possible. There has to be something that can be used against him.

[…] According to some I should be doing a victory dance because the US House of Representatives passed a version of the “Affordable Health Care for America Act” that included explicit language that limited the funding that ObamaCare could provide for abortions. […]
